Ramos Waterproofing & Seal Crawlspace

I don’t even know where to start with how pleased I am with my experience with Ramos Waterproofing and Crawlspace Sealing (RWCS). I had seven quotes and RWCS was hands-down the best one. We just bought our first home and did not fully realize the extent of issues in our crawlspace. After fixing the drainage issues from outside, we had them come in and finish everything off. Taking on such an expense after putting so much money into buying a house was so anxiety producing. Caesar answered my bajillion questions and never seemed irritated or bothered. He responded so quickly. I feel like there should’ve been a line item on my quote for “world’s most annoying customer who asks so many questions.” Caesar and his crew were prompt, efficient, and cleaned up every single day. We did our job in two stages. Over two he did the inside French drain, removed vapor barrier, nasty insulation, installed the sump pump where it should’ve been installed to begin with, mold remediation, and got a dehumidifier installed. We had to go out of town right after this happened and he was so kind to go over and check our crawlspace during a rain to make sure that we 100% fixed our outside drainage issues once we saw that we solved our outside problems, he came back today and finished the full encapsulation. It is perfect. I can finally breathe and start to enjoy my new home. Thank you so much and sorry for all my questions lol 😂 I will sing this company‘s praises for as long as I can!

EXCELLENT!!! Mr. Ramos came , did an estimate and his staff were here working when they said they would come. . They were hard working and the job done was amazing!! I feel like our house is brand new, as our crawl space really needed this. I recommend this company highly, I cannot say enough about the excellent work, integrity and job well done. Ramos waterproofing completed the encapsulation of a crawlspace for a duplex that I own in Carrboro. They removed all the insulation, performed mold remediation, removed all debris, sealed the foundation vents, insulated the walls, added a vent from the HVAC plenum to condition the space, and encapsulated the entire space with heavy duty white plastic with sealed seams. It looks like a clean room at an Intel chip making factory now. Absolutely amazing work. The team showed up 10 minutes before they were scheduled and executed the entire job in one day. Price was right given the work needed. I am planning on having this work done on my own home and will use the Ramos team again.

My experience with the Ramos team was excellent. They came out promptly to review the problem and sent a bid the same day. We were in a hurry to have the work done and they were able to schedule it on a rush basis to be completed a week later on a Sunday morning. They arrived at 7am on the Sunday and by 12:00 noon had completed the work and cleaned up the work area, leaving it in better shape than it was when they started. I would definitely recommend these folks for future work. They are competent, polite, professional, and their prices are reasonable.

Very good!!! The work was finished in less time than I expected

They came out to my house today and exceeded my expectations of work. He showed up 15 mins early with his whole crew and they worked 10 hours straight. They made the underneith my home look brand new. I did the encapsulated crawl space do to wanting to save money monthly on my electric bill. It also reduces any future moisture issues now. It was well worth spending a little more to have it done right then to have a future problem down the road. I am so thankful I had such a great team of guys help me and my fianc? out on our home ?

It went great. They delivered the gravel the day before, got organized and started right away the day of the job. They arrived right as arranged, at 7:am and worked very efficiently all day long until they finished. They were able to deal with difficulties (like the bushes around too grown) without complaining or making a big deal. The job was very well done. Right depth of the trench, gravel etc. They did it cleanly, without making a big mess around or destroying the lawn. Showed good judgment on the modification of the original design, that is, the final stretch of the drain. They totally complied with the estimate and charged exactly what it was in the original plan. They also gave me a 10% senior discount. They performed the job about a week after I accepted the offer. It could have been sooner but I was out of town. They were respectful, very professional and pleasant. I will definitely hired them again, and recommend them highly.

I cannot say enough about how pleased we are with the Ramos brothers work and expertise. Heres a note I sent Octavio that sums it all up. "Hi?.I wanted to thank you and your family for the work you have done to remove the mold and line our crawlspace. The air quality is much improved and we can tell inside the house. In addition, I was monitoring the humidity in the crawlspace with a remote sensor. Prior to your work the readings were from 75-90% humidity. Clearly not acceptable and perfect for mold development. Three days after you lined the crawlspace the humidity had dropped to 51% which is the lowest it has ever been. Even with the constant rain over the last 3 days and with the vents open the humidity did not go above 55%. Thank you Octavio. I would be glad to serve as a reference if you want. And I will appreciate your free return visit to check and clean the crawlspace next year." The cost for all they did was far and away the most inexpensive of any bid. And I got numerous bids that ranged from about $2000 to over $8,000!! How can they do it this inexpensive? They used to work for big companies and decided they could work on their own. So they don't have the overhead of trucks and offices and advertising. They just do GREAT work at a very reasonable price. You will not go wrong if you hire the Ramos brothers....and you will save a ton of money.

Installed sump pump/drain line, cleaned out crawl space, sealed with thick poly, sealed all vents, installed furnace air line and installed new door.

They were awesome. Arrived for the estimate on time. Started and completed the work on time. Were flexible with my schedule while the work was being performed. Cleaned the mess after each day's work. After reviewing four (4) estimates with various options, NC Crawlspace Solutions completed every options at a much lower price AND four (4) days faster than any other estimate. They really understand the requirements to seal a crawl space.
