About us

Harvest Solar provides state of the art solar power systems for homes, farms, and businesses. We work in and around the Orange County area of North Carolina, including Durham, Hillsborough, Chapel Hill, Roxboro and surrounding counties. We provide customized designs, sales and installations of solar energy systems. Harvest Solar is a wholly owned subsidiary of Brouillardbuilt Inc, a leader in designing and building Solar, energy efficient homes since 1977. Having access to the experience and building capabilities of Brouillardbuilt Inc. allows us to provide installations that are as strong, reliable and beautiful for the life of the systems.

The process from went very well. Luke was responsive when we had questions and let us know installation dates with advance notice. The installation took about two days -- one to install the racks and a second day to install the panels and wiring. The inspection by Duke Power occurred and we were able to turn the system on go solar!
Description of Work: Luke Broulliard of Harvest Solar did a free solar site analysis from different points on our property. He then provided a complete energy performance and financial report using different options from the most favorable location on our home's roof. We selected the best option for us and Luke and his team then installed the solar panels on the roof. He also worked with Duke Power for the inspection and returned after the panels were fully functional to show us how to use the monitoring software.
