It was excellent. They put in the fence originally and they were exceptionally careful and thoughtful of our plantings. They even repaired the fence that had gotten out of whack from taking out the fence from the corner. They even replaced two little spokes that had gotten bent. Dear don't go over the fence, they go through the fence. The quality was excellent.

Difficult to work with. We were very clear in where we wanted the fence line and we asked for a sketch for the HOA. After having to ask for it several times, they provided us with a sketch with the fence line in the wrong place.

The work for the fence itself appears to be good, and thus far we've been really pleased. However, the service aspect was somewhat lacking. The communication was poor. The job stretched over two days, they left the fence unsecured (and my dog escaped) on day one, and then on day two they set a post and told me they'd be back in a couple of hours once the concrete set. No problem! 5-6 hours later, it's close to end of business day and I'm calling the office to see if they're actually coming back because my fence is on the ground and I've heard zilch. They eventually randomly showed back up (we just found them in the backyard an hour later) and then got done a few hours later (not sure when because when they got done they just left without a word or without asking us to look at the fence).

Love our new fence. Thank you, Fortress Fencing! Michael, who came out to give me an estimate, was great. He took time to listen to my needs, helped me problem-solve, and patiently worked with me to adjust the fence for my budget. Leslie, who fields all phone calls, is warm, friendly and welcoming; I always smiled talking with her. And Jackie, as project manager, and her crew are super. Jackie took her time on the walk-through set-up and delivered on customizing for some specific needs for our family. The fence was installed quickly (around 3 days as promised), and the crew cleaned up everything when the job was complete. I can't say enough about Fortress Fencing's customer service and quality work. Thank you!

However, since then of course the fence has aged and some posts have rotted (to be expected). I have now called FF 3 times over several months to schedule repairs and they have never returned my calls. The last time I asked to be put through to Jason Truesdale directly and left him a message...no response. I am sure that installing new fences is far more profitable than repairing an older one, but after purchasing two fences from them and recommending them, I would hope for a call back.

The people at Fortress were great. They responded quickly any time we had questions. They had estimated we were a few weeks out on their schedule, and they got to us BEFORE the date promised. Two men did the work, and they worked very hard for 4 days, rarely taking a break even in the summer heat. They also kept things very neat in the work areas and it was cleaned up really nicely when they were done. Regarding price, we did get one other estimate and it was for a similar amount. We are glad we chose Fortress, and I would recommend them.

So far it has been fine. They did very well. They got the job done quickly and were done in about 3 days. The scheduling was quick and they had an office person that contacted me a few times to set it up. They were very accommodating.

After contacting multiple fencing companies with very poor responsiveness, we went with Fortress Fencing for our deer fence and I could not be more pleased with the results. It seems other companies were not interested in installing our fence because of some difficult terrain issues. Fortress Fencing came out right away, said they could install the fence wherever we wanted, and have it completed within a very reasonable time frame. Everyone involved was very professional, courteous, and easy to work with. The completed fence is not only functional, but beautifully crafted down to the smallest detail. They worked around all of the hills and rocks on our property and kept everything looking very neat and finished. Terrific job!

Very pleased with their responsiveness, quality of the work/materials, and friendliness of the staff and workers. Importantly, the installers did a superb job of cleaning up the site at work completion. Overall I am extremely happy and impressed.

I guess business must be good because they lost a sale from the lack of response.

We experienced some delays getting the job started due to rainy weather. Fortress Fencing did the following: - dismantled and got rid of my old and rotten split rail / chicken wire fence - installed new posts and put up the 5 foot dog-eared picket fence - installed 2 gates including 1 double gate - cleaned up everything The fence is sturdy and looks very nice. The team did a great job overall!

I will not be using Fortress Fencing now, or at any time in the future.

Went well. Workers showed up early, worked hard all day. When the job was completed they removed all debris. They were polite and professional.

All of the people involved in this transaction were very professional and friendly. There was a small hiccup with the trash corral but it was resolved to my satisfaction and in a courteous manner. I requested three estimates from two companies...these estimates were (1) Just front part of fencing replaced, to include two gates and the trash corral, or (2) replace fencing for front part, to include two gates and down either side of the yard and the trash corral and (3) replace a section of back portion of fencing in my neighbors' yard. Each company omitted a portion of the three bids...when I contacted each of them for the other portion, only Fortress Fencing got back to me. Also, I found the representative from Fortress Fencing to be more personable than the other company. Hence, even though Fortress' bid was a bit higher, I chose to contract with them.

After a series of missteps in communication (not all their fault) we moved forward with having Fortress Fencing install our fence. Work was completed in a couple of days, the workers were polite and clean and the fence looks very nice. Other than a couple of small details, which were fixed on the first business day available, my wife and I have nothing but good things to say about Fortress Fencing. We like to use local businesses, the response by Fortress and their level of professionalism just add to the list of reasons to do so. We will be recommending them to anyone who cares to ask, and even some that don't ask.

I obtained about 6 price quotes from the top fence installers on Angies list and Fortress Fence wasn't the highest or the lowest. I choose them based on wood quality, price and referral. I dealt with Rick during the quote process and he was very helpful and professional. Once a price was agreed upon, they sent Alex and two others to set the posts. They did a phenomenal job over two days. Just a cleanup hiccup one day that was resolved quickly. After two days of post setting, Bruno and his crew put up the fence in one day. They did a great job on the gates and cleaned up nicely. I spoke to Jason during the installation and he was polite and professional. He even replaced several pickets I was not happy with no questions asked. I have received numerous compliments on the fence and we are very happy the quality of work Fortress provided. I highly recommend them and would absolutely use them again.

They were very professional. Answered my request for information promptly and also showed up when they said they would. The work was done quickly and professionally with no damage and complete clean up of materials. They were fantastic. We love our new fence and the work done by fortress fencing!

Very responsive company. Rick came to our house and reviewed the situation, and quickly got us a written estimate. He then answered some questions over the phone. The fence arrived and the workers took about a day and a half to do the complete job.They were very careful not to disturb the lawn, flowers, etc. They cleaned up very well when they were through. The only possible complaint is that we never got a phone call when the fence was to arrive. Fortunately we were at home the day the fence and the workmen arrived.

The installation went great. We were very satisfied at the time. We have an issue now, because the fence is falling down. We called the company to come back out (June of 2012), thinking they would stand by their product and fix the fence. We were even going to use them for an additional fence repair for something that wasn't their fault. But, we were stunned when they gave us a fairly large estimate for this repair. The issue with this fence is clearly workmanship. The guy who came out to look at it could not believe the fence was falling down, and he was sure management would take care of it. Imagine our surprise when we received the estimate. Most companies stand behind their work. I know the work was done quite sometime ago, but the workmanship of a fence should last for a really, really long time. That's not unheard of. It's not like we talking about the wear and tear on the wood. We're talking about workmanship.

Fortress Fencing is great. Of the 3 quotes I got, they came in at the cheapest, but the work they did was very high quality and we are SO happy we chose them. We love our fence! Everyone we talked to was professional, polite, and flexible when we had to delay the construction midway through the project due to a minor property line dispute with a neighbor. The boards on the fence look great (none are warped, damaged or discolored) and they made sure to get the chainlink all the way down to the ground even through the hills and gullies on our property. The two gates they installed look fantastic and work perfectly. My only deduction is on punctuality because I was told that they would have the fence finished on a certain day and I came home at 12:45pm to find it half finished with no one around. When I called, I was told that the chainlink section took a lot of work so they hadn't loaded the boards for the workers that morning. I was a little irked that the hard part had only taken half a day and wondered why they couldn't have finished it that afternoon because I'd now have to walk two big dogs while carrying a 9 month old baby for another day, but they were very polite and apologized and had the fence finished promptly the next day. If that was the worst that happened, I'm a happy customer and would absolutely recommend Fortress Fencing to anyone. Our fence looks great and we are already getting compliments!

I was very impressed from start to finish. I interacted with four people overall (the owner, someone that measured and prepared a quote, and two installers). All four were professional, prompt and courteous. The end result looks fantastic. Couldn't be happier with the work. Would definitely use Fortress again.

During a bad thrunderstorm a tree fell on our house and fence, this requiring not only the fence to be repaired but a section of it to be replaced! Fortress came right away gave us an estimate and we signed on with them!! They were professional and rebuilt the fence within a few weeks realizing we had two dogs that required their fence!! Its a beautiful 6 foot tall wooden (dog eared) privacy fence with a double gate! I would HIGHLY recommend Fortress Fencing Co!! They're awesome!

They are so terrific. Someone came to measure the yard within two days of my calling for an estimate. They wrote up two estimates because we couldn't decide exactly how big to make the fence. They were also exceedingly patient and good-natured while we waited and waited for my HOA to grant approval, which took longer than promised. During the building of the fence, my neighbor's toilet started to make weird noises. She emailed me in a panic late at night, so I called and left a message with Jason. He texted me back immediately, letting me know that his guys had not hit any lines while they were digging and that the neighbor's plumbing isn't in my yard and shouldn't be affected by any activity there. It made me feel much better -- and let me sleep that night! -- until the neighbor's plumber confirmed in the morning that the toilet issue had nothing to do with our fence. As for the fence itself, it's gorgeous. We are completely thrilled with it. And really impressed with how Fortress went above and beyond, in our opinion. Also, their estimate was considerably lower than the other companies that we tried.
