DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! We have 4 restaurants and have sent them tons of business but the last 6 months they have been one of the worse companies ran, I have seen in a long time. They came out to fix a piece of equipment charged us $1300 the next day it didn’t work … 2 month later, endless calls they have yet to come back and fix it . They said they would order us a part that it needs and have it overnighted well… that was 4 weeks ago and I try to contact them they never return my calls. This company is horrible , they also charged us $2300 dollars to fix a freezer but never even fixed it . Just trying to help other people out by stating the truth .

I have owned my home for 7 years, and the previous homeowner replaced the HVAC system 3 years before I bought the home. I thought it would be reasonable to have the original HVAC company (two A-K first names) who installed the unit do the regular maintenance. After about 4 consecutive years of that company doing 'maintenance', I questioned their actual service. It seemed like they glanced at a few things and called it good. I went with different companies the following years and never felt like anything was done. One would think maintenance of an HVAC unit might take a little longer than 15 minutes. This spring I called Boer Brothers. To start, Mike was prompt. In fact, he was in my driveway a little early but didn't come to the door until exactly the scheduled start time. I thought that was incredibly considerate. Mike was very professional, kind and so intelligent and knowledgeable. He explained things about my HVAC system that I never knew about. Apparently I have a UV light 'air scrubber' on my system that needed a part replaced to be active again, as Mike showed me the indicator light on the front of the air handler was out. What a great feature to have on an HVAC system to continuously clean and disinfect the air and surfaces in my home. Unfortunately I haven't had this feature for years as I've never seen an indicator light on and knew nothing about it. One would think the original installers or other HVAC technicians would have mentioned this every year they were taking my money. Mike was absolutely wonderful and incredibly thorough. For the first time, I felt like someone actually maintenanced my HVAC system. Whatever Mike A is getting paid, it's not enough. Give that man a raise!

This company was great! They came out and gave us an estimate for this project and were really as good as they can get.

They were wonderful! They were prompt, very professional, they explained what they were doing and they gave me free maintenance too for the spring maintenance. They even filed for energy rebate for me from the local electric company.

I called boer for an estimate. The salesman came out and looked at what I wanted to have done. He told me if I wasn't going to replace the ductwork, his company would not even do the job. I told him, your the expert, you tell me what I need done and give me a quote and we will go from there. He never even sent me a quote. Pretty lousy to waste my time. I will never recommend the company to anyone.

The air conditioner failed in our rental property on a hot summer day on Labor Day weekend. Boer Brothers had put in the original system through a GC. We called them up, and they immediately routed us to a dispatcher who took our case. Within hours, a tech came out to service the system and quickly found the problem - a simple fix fortunately. All-in-all, an excellent experience and highly professional staff for this maintenance request.

The repair person arrived right away. Ice that had formed on the unit had to melt overnight. He arrived again at 6:30 am Monday morning and made the necessary repair. We were very satisfied the the responsiveness of the company.

Repaired problem; serviced unit and explained problems and service in a way I could understand.

It went well. Heat pump heats appropriately.

Just a heads up to everyone, I like supporting the "family owned and operated" companies so I submitted a request for service through this providers website recommended channel, email, and 3 days later have yet to receive any response. I have checked both my email and my spam folder but have heard nothing. If you need a timely response I would not recommend engaging this provider. Perhaps they need to suggest a recommended communication method that they actually check or use or maybe just be better about letting potential customers know if they are backlogged and do not have any openings for a while. Either way I will not try to contact them again and I would not recommend that anyone else reaches out to them with any expectation.

Boer brothers showed up at 7:58 for a 8:00 am appointment. The service tech figured out what was wrong. Replacing a fuse that had blown and than traced out a wire that had come undone. The A/C than started working. The tech signed us up for their annual service check which I was looking to do. After such a out standing service and experience.

They do good work. I have been happy with them and I will stay with them. They fixed it well so they didn't have to come back. I would absolutely use them again.

Technician arrived on time. After showing him the condensation pump, he agreed with the assessment I had provided the secretary on the phone the day before. That is, the condensation pump was broken and needed to be replaced. Here's where the problems started. The technician did not bring any 120V condensation pumps with him. So he could not make the repair. He said he could try to find a pump and schedule another meeting time. I told him the problem with that was I had already taken a half-day off from work to meet him this first time and couldn't afford to take more time off from work. I said that is why I was so explicit on the phone the day before about the problem being with the condensation pump. So I ended up having to go buy a new condensation pump myself and install it later that night after I got home from work. Cost for "service call", $85 + tax. BTW, before writing this review I emailed the company expressing my disappointment over having had to take time off from work, being charged an $85 + tax service call fee, only to find out the technician could not perform the repair. They never responded to my concerned.

All went well. The Freon levels in each unit were charged and other maintenance work performed. The technician (sorry for not remembering his name) described the condition of each unit and any necessary current and future repairs/upgrades that would be needed.

Quick fix for the technician who needed to reconnect an electrical line that had become disconnected from the system under the house.

We didn't use the AC till today because of the mild weather after it was "fixed". Today when we tried to use it, the cooling still does not work. I asked the company to dispatch somebody to find the problem and fix it, but was told the only option was to replace the entire unit. They told us that all refrigerants had been leaked out. How could they know this without even coming? If the technician knew the severity of the issue, why did he choose to add 3 lbs of refrigerant in the first place and didn't let us know the problem? We paid $373.90 for nothing.

Excellent. I was expecting bad news that the furnace had to be replaced but it is still in good working condition. A new motor was ordered and installed within a week. Took advantage of an AL deal and recommendations from a few friends who use Boer Brothers

Went well and longer than expected.

No issues with all work done when promised. More importantly, they have followed up and handled all aspects including my rebate and warranty submittals.

I regularly use them for A/C and heating checkups and occasionally they have to replace a part or two. This past year, a valve that controls the gas broke and was letting gas into the house. They had replaced this part a year earlier so this time they replaced it for free which I appreciated.

They are recommended by all real estate agents, carpenters, electricians, and plumbers. They are well known in the community. They have a great reputation and are responsive. We have gone through some really bad HVAC companies, and we finally found someone who is honest and does a good job. We are very happy with them. The workers are smart, experienced, and courteous. They answer any questions that you have.

Service technician inspected the entire system and thermostat. He explained what he found very clearly to me, which was that he did not find a problem and the system was now working. He thought that perhaps he had tightened something and that solved the problem. He said that if I had the problem again that I should not touch the thermostat because there might be a readable error code at the furnace that would explain more. I have not had the problem again, fortunately. Very happy with the service, timeliness, and very polite and knowledgeable technician.

They said expensive repairs recommended by others were not required. They are now our permanent HVAC service proviswer.

The company got to us as quickly as they could, given the snow/ice, and did a good job when they got here. The technician was courteous and professional and did not try to upsell us anything which was very refreshing!
