 + -1 moreHe has not responded to any of my emails, calls, etc. So, we are out $200-$250 with nothing to show for it. Very, very disappointed since we had had great service from him over the years. My last email to him was in May of this year. I sent him one today expressing my disappointment and telling him I would not recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: He repaired a laptop of my husband's and charged us $200-$250. The laptop crashed and he took it back to repair.

 + -1 moreInstaller was also business owner - installed three of four cameras, wired fourth camera with wrong wire, did not install conduit properly and did not instruct me as to the use of the DVR software or the camera system.
Description of Work: Installation of Lorex Edge DVR and four camera monitoring system.

 + -1 moreHe explained that he would try to remove the viruses and if that didnt work, he would recover my documents, pictures, music, and favorites from my computer and would reinstall the operating system. After a day, he called to say that he had removed the viruses, but my computer would no longer boot up. He had found over 300 viruses and trojans. He then informed me that he would be reinstalling the operating system. He did a very thorough job of saving my cocuments and files, so much so that he found some things that I had lost throughout the years. He reinstalled Windows Vista and then restored all of my files. he even applied all of the windows updates and installed aol and itunes, both of which I use often. On top of this, he recommended two virus and malware applications that would help me avoid getting infected by viruses again in the future, one of which was free. Two days after picking up the computer from my home, Brandon delivered the computer back to my home in working condition and it actually works better now with a fresh copy of windows installed. Since this happened, I have referred him to at least 5 friends, some of who have had Meyer Computers do work for them and were all equally pleased with the, accurate servce, the price, the speed of service, and the fact that they will work from your home, or provide pick up and drop off for free. They also have some new compaq loaner laptops, which makes it extra nice..
