Mr. Florence requested half the cost up front - reasonable we thought, so we complied seeing he had to pay for the windows. Four weeks later, the windows arrived. One week after that, he had to re-order since he claims he was involved in a hit & run in which a vehicle slammed his work truck, totally destroying every one of our windows. Three weeks later, 8 weeks behind schedule, a crew began working on the closet area and preparing for the flashing repair. Things went relatively smoothly for about a month - closet shell encased, flashing changed out, and windows changed. Then he asked for the remainder of the funds so he could order the final "parts," and again we obliged. That was the last we saw or heard of him..... We arrived home to find the large picture window had been shattered upon removal, and glass shards were all over the back yard, back deck, second floor deck, inside the kitchen, in front of the house on both garage stoops, and in both driveways!! Three months later, we are still finding little slithers of glass!! The closet below the foyer stairs was never completed (no door knob, no primer, no paint, etc), one of the windows was never completed on the inside (insulation, trim, molding, etc.), and the flashing on the deck still leaks! In our OPINION, Calvin is a very personable young man, but don't fall for it!! He lacks the discipline and professionalism to perform the tasks people entrust him with.

Highest bid but had good recommendations. LIstened to our desires and concerns. Overall the work was good and the crews were flexable with scope of work Somewhat slow in getting the job done.

We met Calvin (joey) Florence (owner) at LOWES when he performed a random act of kindness by helping bring in a heavy, bulky return. he just offered to help. We met him again in the store and he gave us good advice on a purchase. Kept his business card and when it was time to remodel, he fit us into his schedule. The bathroom job was relatively easy but redoing the plumbing under the kitchen sink involved cutting the back wall and repairing that as well. The work was done right, on time and at a very reasonable price. We will use him again and appreciate that he can do all sorts of home improvement.
