Only thing was the light for vanity needed to be moved. He asked if I wanted it centered, and I said yes, but he put it too low so had to move it and left a hole that I had to patch. Not sure whose fault that is, but I would thought you could see it was too low, but maybe that is just me. Also took a lot of additional time to put run in for vent fan because they had to go from attic to basement. They thought it might be a clean run but it wasn't and took extra time. I thought total would have been out of pocket about 450 with coupon for an extra hour but I guess the extra work to get line in cost me.

I called to get an estimated and described the job. Tim gave e a $300 estimate over the phone. I was a little concerned because he would not come out for such a low-priced job to do an estimate in person. I received another estimate that was significantly more. I called Tim back and he was in Asheville and agreed to come over and look at the work to confirm his estimate. He did and stuck to the $300 original estimate. We scheduled the work for Monday morning at 8:00. His team showed up at 8:00 (after calling first) and finished in 2 hours. We did not test the motion sensor light since it was daytime. I checked it that night and it did not work. I called Mike (the electrician that came out) and he suggested I go to Home Depot and get anther light (as I agreed to provide the lights myself), let him know when I had it and he would come back out and install the new one. I did and he came out the next day, as the original light was defective. He installed it and tested it (as we found some settings to allow testing in the daytime). All in all it was a great experience. They were prompt, courteous, did a great job and didn't charge for the extra trip because of the defective light. I will definitely use them again.

I took advantage of Volt's electric's $399.00 electrician for a day deal to install a ceiling fan and outdoor lighting. There was nothing to replace so he had to measure and cut into the ceiling and install a new switch panel. He also installed motion detector lighting in the back yard. Armando was prompt, courteous and very professional. He asked questions I did not even think to ask to make sure I got what I wanted. I am very happy with the results.

Armando was great. He explained what he was doing and why. They are coming back to resolve some of the issues that they found.

Great job, timely and professionally performed

I had a pendent light over the kitchen sink that needed replacing. He replaced with the new fixture I provided, hanging it at the desired height. Works fine. I had a wall outlet downstairs that was not grounded. He traced the problem to a faulty connection in a ceiling junction box. He disconnected this wiring and rewired the outlet to a more accessible junction box in my shop, which adjoins the room where the outlet in question is located. Again, he did neat, clean work. I was very pleased with this company from start to finish. I purchased their service for $99.00 for two hours of work via Angie's List. They contacted me and scheduled the work in a timely fashion. The electrician arrived on time, was very courteous and professional, explained what he did, cleaned up after himself, and was finished within the allotted time. There was no charge for materials he provided (wire, nuts, tape). I have added Volt Electric to my saved phone number list, and they will be my first choice for any future electrical work. Many thanks for a job well done!

I spoke to them on the phone but unfortunately the type of canister lighting I am needing is not included on this Big Deal.

They were real good with scheduling. They did a good job overall and clean-up was fine. I was very pleased.

We were hoping to have the work performed before Christmas, but here it is February. The offer was suppose to have work scheduled or performed on November? Don't think we will prepay anything again. Update- read above comment. Looking forward to providing a review for performed work. June 2015 They worked very quickly. Make sure you have a long list for them to perform as they are very efficient in their time management.

Fridays in the bed and breakfast industry generally means "full house check in." It also means, during the Christmas season that guests are genuinely hopeful for some form of Christmas light display to be apparent when they check in at your property. Well, the will was there....like good little innkeepers, we's strung the lights with care, including our Dicken's Village under the tree. All systems were go and when we plugged them in they shone brightly and as beautifully as intended. The next morning the timer cycled on and we expected a lighted tree. SO NOT. We explored the breaker....NOT. We explored the plug coming loose...Not. We hooked up an extension cord for the purposes of determining a Christmas light/Dicken's Village houses issue (all very low amps) or dead receptacle issue. Regretfully, it proved to be the latter. On to Angie's list. Found Volt Electric with the equipment needed to try and locate the problem and excellent prior reviews. Tim and Aaron to the rescue. With litte notice and smiling faces they arrived and Voila!....Christmas has been saved from the Dead Receptacle Grinch and the lights are back up and running again much to the delight of our guests! Weekend guest crisis averted and the spirit of Christmas lives on sparkling brightly. Yea for Volt-Yea for Tim-Yea for Aaron. Thank you so much gentleman. You sure saved the day for us....We so appreciate that as well as your attention to neatness and clean up. What excellent fellows. He fixed two outlets where the polarity was reversed. I had already knew there was an issue from the original home inspection. He also fixed a light in the garage.

They were very professional and did the usual great job. I have used them several times in the past.

He checked all the outlets, looked at electrical box, the outside connections, examined the wiring that was visible in the basement. I asked about electrical work that would be required for kitchen remodeling, and he explained what would be involved. He answered all my questions, including my questions about any safety issues.

It went very fast. Everything he needed was on his truck. I showed him what needed doing and went downstairs to work. Before I really got started he came down to tell me he was finished. Great work. Fast and showed up 15 minutes early! I will definitely call him again.

had issues communicating with the service provider that came out to do the work. I did not think that it would be wise to have the work done with them if we could not communicate.

I have used their services multiple times and have always been pleased. I have never experienced additional fees when working with them. He did the work at my rental property and coordinated with my tenants so I didn’t have to be there.

The company was very professional in their interactions with me. Unfortunately, I was mistaken in my understanding of the item purchased and they were very honest and straight forward in helping me understand more clearly. If I ever needed electrical services in the future I would have no hesitancy in contacting them. Very honest.
