Description of Work: They installed two timers for outdoor lights. I was sold the wrong type of timers at a retail store. The packaging was not clear as to how they worked. Once they were installed I realized they were not what I wanted. I purchased the correct timers and Volt came back to install the replacements for no extra charge.

Description of Work: I first used them on an Angie's List special to replace a motion sensor light and remove an second light altogether. I used three other companies that never seemed to EVER get one installed and operating correctly. These guys were great and I FINALLY have an operational motion sensor light over my garage. |Since I was definitely happy with Volt, I asked them to come back and install an additional motion sensor light to cover an area adjacent to a wooded lot on a very dark side of my house. This required Mike to crawl around in a hot attic to splice an electric line to the soffit. IT WORKS! He also replaced an inoperable GFI outlet, repaired and replaced the incoming power source to my house and replaced an "antique" patio light with a modern motion sensor light and repaired a short in the electrical line. |Mike was fantastic! Will I use them again? You betcha!

Description of Work: Volt Electric put an electrical outlet outside, repaired electrical outlets inside, and installed a dimmer switch in the bathroom. The company responded quickly to purchase of the service. The electrician was prompt,courteous,and knew what he was doing. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Volt installed a bridge between my gasoline generator and my house's electrical system so that I could use my generator to run the house's electrical appliances when & if the regular power is lost. This is especially important to me in the winter when I could run my furnace using gas (emergency backup) instead of my heat pump to keep the water pipes from freezing. Their costs were significantly less than the other bids I received, they came when they said they would come, and their installation passed the Asheville city inspection (with inspector saying that he was going to get the same thing done).

Description of Work: I had a long list of 'honey do' items for the tech. ceiling fans, switches, lights, extra outlet. Tech got to work right away and stayed busy. Quality of work was excellent and he used a drop cloth to catch his clippings. Note: troubleshooting or unexpected interferences that delay the work still count towards the time. Overall a great experience.

Description of Work: Replaced faulty switch, smoke alarm battery, two faulty outlets and checked safety of all outlets. Mike arrived at promised time, explained everything he did, was professional, worked quickly and left no mess. He did an excellent job and I am pleased recommend him and the company.

Description of Work: Whole house electrical Inspection. Also gave us estimates on a few other things we asked about. Very knowledgeable, estimate very reasonable, will definitely ies them again.

Description of Work: Installed three pendant lights in kitchen and one chandelier in the dining room. Went very well - had to have them back because one pendant did not light due to a glitch in the pendant itself. Resolved problem in less than 1/2 hour. Very good experience.

Description of Work: Had scheduled the appointment late in the day, when he did not show I called service after 1 hour and they were supposed to contact the electrician but did not until I made the second call. I was contacted immediately after the 2nd call and rescheduled and the electrician did arrive promptly.
