They were responsive, even called me to schedule the appointment since I'd bought a deal from them. They were on-time and did the work quickly. I was happy with everything except I would have preferred if they'd put down a drop cloth to catch all of the dropping insulation as they cut the holes. They did vacuum, but it's very hard to get that all cleaned up once it's on your furniture and everywhere.

Tim and his employee installed three ceiling fans. Typically this is an home improvement project I would do, however the ceiling fan at the ceiling was hot regardless what the position of the wall switch; off or on. I could not get the switch on the wall to work. So I needed a electrician, he (Tim) was able to figure this out quickly and install the rest of my fans. He was efficient and professional.

They did a great job. They came on time. It took them a little over an hour to complete the work. No additional fees with the Big Deal. The price was reasonable. Scheduling the Big Deal was easy.

They worked quickly and quietly and cleaned everything up completely.

They did a GREAT job. The list of things we needed just kept growing, and we were very impressed with how thorough they were, how they kept up with our requested additions, and overall how they got it all done in just 4 days of work. Everything works very well now, and we no longer have concerns about what the previous owner may or may not have done to our electrical system. So great job overall!

Aaron came out on 8/9/13, and determined that the pendant lights could be moved. He arrived on time. Confirmed with me as to exactly where I wanted the lights hung and installed them. He was very polite and professional. He also helped me and my husband move a very heavy table ,which was under where he had to work. He also repaired a loose outlet, I was concerned about. I have used Volt Electric in the past, and am always very pleased with Tim and Aaron's work. I would highly recommend the company.

Installed 2 ceiling fans, 1 was broken and they waited for me to take it back to Lowe's to return it

With only 1 week lead time Tim Volt's electrician, Aaron, arranged to arrive after lunch on August 5th to coordinate with the delivery of a hot tub I had bought from a neighbor. Aaron, was very efficient and professional and made sure nothing went wrong even thinking to have me remove my car from the garage area where he was drilling through the wall to avoid any possibility of a chip flying and dinging the car! Aaron surveyed the site and gave me his opinion regarding the best layout and the most efficient and least expensive option was selected. The work was perfect and everything worked perfectly on the first attempt and Aaron cleaned up after himself as if he hadn't even been there. the work took 3 1/2 hours and was $135 less than the original quote. Hot Tub Recyclers were so impressed they also asked Aaron for business cards to provide their clients!!! A very satisfying and pleasant experience! My experience with Angie's List is now 2 for 2! Highly recommend Volt Electric!

Made an appointment with Tim at Volt last week. We were scheduled to have our work done at 8--8:30 AM on 8/7/2013. The electricians arrived at our home at 7:45 AM, evaluated the work to be done and had completed all the work by 8:35 AM. Very pleased with their professional demeanor, efficiency and complete competence. A great experience working with these folks.

He was quite responsive. In fact, the day I called, he came out. He was very professional and economical. He looked at the situation here and suggested the cheapest way to do it. He was very responsive.

I had an appointment at 11:15 AM. At 12 noon, I called to see if they'd forgotten about me. He said he had wanted to do a "telephone estimate", but had never called me to deliver that message. He said he'd be here in two hours, it's now 3 hours later, and I had to call again--and he said it would be another hour. I've been waiting here for 3 hours and 45 minutes after the scheduled appointment time, and still no electrician. He did show up, and did a great job.

Perhaps the most honest and professional such experience I`ve had. Tim came the day he said he would and installed the pump motor. Unfortunately the pump began to leak significantly and he said he would be out to fix it. He called me back later though and said he was uncomfortable working on the pump further. He would accept no money from me although he spent a couple of hours at my house and installed the motor. He simply determined that his level of experience working on pool pumps was not adequate enough to work on it further and advised me to call a pool company , which I did , same day and now my pool pump is fixed. To make a short story very long , I was impressed greatly with Tim`s honesty and will definetly use him again. Heck of a guy ....

Called Volt based on Angie's list record to troubleshoot and repair electric problems at rental house. He answered right away and was able to come out that afternoon less than an hour later. Initial diagnosis was a bad meter, and Tim said to call Duke Power to replace it, or he'd discount repair if he was wrong. While Tim was there he installed a light switch for me returning functionality to an outdoor light, and he looked at some other work, which he was able to schedule for the following morning. Duke Power came out later that day and said it was a bad lug nut on the meter box. Tim came out the next morning as promised and in addition to the work I'd scheduled he replaced the meter box, since lug nuts were unavailable for the very old box, fixing the problem. And he delivered on the discount, waiving the trip fee on both trips, as well as the 5% discount to Angie's List. I'm impressed with Volt Electric and recommend them highly! Professional, punctual, fast workers and a great value.

Called ahead of time, was on time, and went to work and got the job done. I have had them out on previous occasions and their work is good.

Installer arrived ready to go figured out plan to make installation fit room implimented with professionalism completed job all in one day

I have no complaints. The technicians were punctual, courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable.

A storm came through the area last night, causing fairly wide-spread power outages. I was woken up at 5am by my security alarm going off. After a long experience of panic and police, we found that the cause was a GFI that had tripped and had cut power to the alarm. I called Volt Electric, and they said they would come out right after lunch and get the GFI changed. They came promptly at 12:50, and finished the job by 1:20. They were respectful of my home, respectful of me, kind to my dog, responsive to any questions, and very efficient. They even plugged my things back into the outlets that were bad. Thank you so much! This company will be the first I call next time I have any electrical problems.

I made the appointment about one week before work was done. When I checked back the day before work was scheduled I was told no record of my appointment existed. The owner did agree to abide by the original appointment date and time. The electrical contractor appeared on time and informed me in advance he was on the way. I was surprised he did not have the wall switch on his truck since I told the owner what needed to be done. It took two hours of billable time to replace two light switches. The contractor charged from the time the truck left the business until the work was completed. Billable time included 30 minutes taken up because the contractor had to leave to buy a light switch. I called the owner to discuss my concerns about the billable time and the switch. He explained that there are lots of switches and he cannot stock them all on the truck. He informed me it is standard practice to bill from the time the truck leaves the business including time spent purchasing materials.

FANTASTIC - he was in and out in under two hours and will be crediting me for the half hour that I had already paid for that wasn't necessary. This guy is a man of integrity and skill - just what every busy, working single woman needs. An excellent and respectable electrician! Thanks Tim!!!

He did an excellent job. He put in GFI outlets around the house. The only complaint I have is that he charged us for travel time, and I wish I had known that upfront.

We bought a deal on Angie's List for $99.00 which included an outdoor outlet installation and electrical inpection of house. The person who came was prompt and did the inspection and installed an outdoor outlet on the same day. We are planning to call him and do some more work soon. We were able to get our Christmas lights on the house because of that outdoor outlet.

Two workers arrived exactly on time to perform the work. They completed the installations, and cleaned all work areas beautifully. They were professional, efficient and courteous. The unanticipated wall switch repair was a very reasonable $55.00.
