Description of Work: I called Tim Voth yesterday about having my doorbell fixed and he had someone here today. The tech was even waiting in my driveway when I got home from work. Tim was extremely friendly and professional on the phone. The price was very fair and completed in a timely fashion. I would definitely use Volt Electric again if I need any work done in the future.

Description of Work: replaced faulty electrical outlets x2, and 3 way switches x2, gave me 1/2 price special he had running on initial visit cost. Was very pleasant and prompt. Called to set up a service call and found him to be in my area. Came right out and fixed within 1 hour. Was very informative and helpful as I know nothing about home electrical issues. Will definitely call again if have other repair needs.

Description of Work: Installed a new power outlet above the fireplace and moved cable jack.

Description of Work: Checked for problems and tightened connections, and suggested I call Duke Power if problems continued suggesting that strong possibility the problem probably not my wiring (he was spot-on because Duke Power out to do work that fixed problem). He also advised me on what work would be needed for changing over to electric heating system, should I decide to do that.

Description of Work: They installed an outside receptacle and added a wall switch.

Description of Work: The technician ran new wiring for lights and garage door openers. He also hung light fixtures and made sure they worked properly with the light switches. He arrived on time and even went over his time based on the price estimated for the work but did not charge any additional amount. The price seemed reasonable though I don't have anything to compare it to. I was very pleased with all communication and the professionalism of the technician. I would use this company again.

Description of Work: We discovered that the downstairs television and several of the lights were not working. We suspected it was from a recent lightning strike. I was stressed because we had a guest arriving the next afternoon, who would be staying in the area with the nonfunctioning TV and lights. I called and left a message with Volt, as soon as I checked Angie's list. The owner called me back several hours later and we made an appointment for 8:30 the next morning. The gentlemen arrived on time and discovered that the problem was an electrical reset button which controlled the inside outlets, that had been improperly installed on the outside deck, by the electrician who was contracted by the builder. I was glad that I will know where to check, if this happens again.
