lawn mower repair
+ -1 moreBilly, cleaned and adjusted the carburator along with cleaning the air filter. He also flushed the oil and added new oil to the mower. I had dropped off the mower on Monday of the week of 2/3 and he had it fixed an running for me on Wednesday 2/5. The turn around was great.

Description of Work: We sent two riding lawn mowers to this repair shop. After a week we were called with an estimate, for both mowers $350./400. + parts , one mower needed new tires and blade sharpening the other had starting issues ( not battery) . We agreed to estimate and was told to expect work to be completed in a week or two maximum. Two weeks passed and no word, after a month we called them! Man on phone could not give us any information on progress told us someone would call us soon to let us know. The next day we were phoned and told there had been a delay in delivery of tires, they would have mowers ready in a week. It took two weeks and when mowers where returned only one worked. The tire repair was working the other mower started fine in the shop but completly stopped working as soon as we engaged the blade and tried to mow grass. Called shop told them the problem they said they would send a guy out to look over the mower. Never happened. The mower has never worked it came back with exact same problem. The total cost was $500.00 plus $250 for parts. We are very unsatisfied.

+ -1 moreI had an emergency situation with a lawn I had to mow in selling this property. I had to make it look nice. I took my lawn mower to them. Normally when you call, especially in the summer, it could be a month or weeks wait before they get to your mower. When I went they said they could get it done in the next two days but actually returned it within one day. Everything was great and we couldn’t beat the price. So I was really impressed. I was expecting to wait a lot longer and pay more for the service. They were the best prices with the best service; they were really nice. I’d definitely use them again.
Description of Work: I went to Pressley’s Small Engine Repair about a month ago for lawn mower repair.

+ -1 moreQuick service, helped unload the back of car. Quickly got my information and told me it would take a week to complete (much faster than I am used to from experience in Sylva, NC and Orlando, FL.) Stopped in a day before it was due and arranged to have the work completed even though the wheels were on back order. On pick up day the bill was handled quickly and they helped load it in my car. Wheels will be installed when they arrive free of charge. I was pleasantly surprised by the final bill, I expected it to be much higher!
Description of Work: Took my 20+ year old, poorly maintained lawn mower in for tune up, sharpening and clean up. Also asked them to replace the front wheels.
