David and his Father did a great job replacing my drains around my house. Everything was explained and demonstrated. The job was completed in a timely fashion and David followed up to make sure everything was- is alright. I have already desided to use them for further improvements around my house.

I hired Gibson and Grading to repair my deck that was in bad shape from the previous owner. David removed all the top boards and rails from my large deck and replaced them with new treated wood and used deck screws. I am very happy with the job and the cost was very reasonable. I am very happy with this work. I'll be hiring David again for future projects.

I was called an given up dates when the work would be done. When the date was set they showed up on time. All equipment needed was provided. I am totally satisfied with the work that was done.

This is a 2nd time I have used Gibson Grading and Construction. My driveway is very steep and I hired David to re-grade the driveway to reduce the grade slope percentage and install road bond. He put in an S-turn and dropped the driveway slope percentage down and installed two culverts. He installed the two culverts and placed large stones at the openings. He placed grass seed and straw where needed for erosion control. I also had David cut in an access road to my lower meadow. I am extremely happy with this work. David and his father go out of their way to make sure the job it done correctly and I am planning for additional projects for Gibson Construction next year. I highly recommend this company.

The project went very well. We were away from home while the work was being done but David kept us informed of the progress. He was reliable and professional in all respects. The retaining wall is built from large, dry stacked stones and is more attractive than I'd expected. We would hire him again and recommend his company to others.

David completed a few big jobs for me last year and I happily hired him again recently to deal with a problem wet area along the back of the house and to scrape out the remnants of an old gravel driveway. He's the only person I'll consider for grading, drains, and hardscaping. He's very knowledgeable and, after inspecting the site, he explains what needs to be done, gives a very fair cost estimate, and returns promptly to carefully and efficiently to complete the job. I'd say he's meticulous in his work. After installing French and engineered drains in back, scraping out gravel from the old drive, spreading topsoil, and seeding, he installed over a dozen boulders on a slope where I've wanted to create a rock garden. It looks beautiful. David is easy to talk with and work with, and I look forward to hiring again in the future.

Dave is fantastic. He has done 2 big jobs for me. One was widening and improving a gravel driverway and the other was the removal of a giant tree that fell and crushed my deck. He was punctual, reponded to email/phone calls, and did what he said he would do. His prices were very fair and I will use him everytime I have the need. Also cleans up the work site when the job is completed.

I highly recommend Gibson's Grading and Construction. I had a leaking basement and contacted David Gibson to give an opinion and estimate on a fix. During the assessment I could tell David is very knowledgeable in this area. He made a recommendation which made sense to me and quoted a comparable price. He told me at the outset it would be several weeks before he could get to my project. During this time I had several questions that I sent through text or email and David answered every question and concern promptly. I found him to be kind, reliable and honest. In fact, he did extra work he saw that I needed without additional charge, including replacing leaking downspouts and even removing a small, dead tree. In my opinion, David Gibson is a top-notch professional with a good work ethic and good communication. I highly recommend him.

We called David Gibson and he came out right away. He was very professional, and gave us a reasonable estimate for the job, both money and time wise, with a generous discount for having found him through Angie's list. He did a wonderful job rebuilding the entire driveway, dealing with unpredictable weather, and did it staying on budget and finishing ahead of schedule. The driveway is in the best condition it has ever been. He was very knowledgeable, and made recommendations based on the driveway conditions as the job progressed, keeping us informed every day with his work plan. It was a tough job, and they did great work. I contacted him on Friday and they were able to get to work on it the following Monday.

The road as held up very well even after many hard rains. We will continue to hire David to maintain the road and do any additional grading as needed.

David came out to assess the issue the day after I notified his business via Angie’s List email. I was impressed with his understanding and evaluation of what had to be done to fix the bad drainage that existed. He suggested that I have additional downspouts & gutters installed in the area needing the drainage fix, and I followed his advice on that. He came out a few weeks later and spent 2 days waterproofing my home’s lower level, and 2 more days doing the outside work. He knows his stuff, and if I could rate him A+, I would. He not only did the job we agreed needed doing, he completely corrected other elements that had led to the problem drainage. In other words, folks, he went above and beyond. I was so pleased to have found such a wonderful person to work with. Would I hire him again? I already am in his job queue for something else that I want fixed. David did an excellent job of smoothing out the transitions in the existing yard to make it smoother and creating more pleasing visual and functional area. He gave lots of thought to what could be done and was able to complete the work without bringing in extra soil.

Twice now he’s done roadwork and grading for me. This second time he gave me an excellent parking area on a brushy lot, and in addition, threw in about 500’ of a walkable road into property so could get better feel for the land. I will use him for all my work and developments I do in future. He communicates in a very timely matter; he’s amazing at follow up; does what he says he’s going to do and always has given me more than what he said. And, the first time I hired him to grade and repair about 1700 linear feet of road, of the 5 road comoany’s I interviewed, he’s the only one who asked once we walked the road, what my budget was. Then he gave me options. I have a great deal of respect for David. I highly recommend him!

From determining the problem, offering more than one solution, helping fit the solution to our budget, staying in touch, doing exactly what was promised, and more than expected. David Gibson thinks outside the box and finds the best solution for his customer. He followed up initial visit promptly with a written quote. He worked closely with us while on the job and consulted us each time there were decisions and changes to the project. He did the work himself rather than dropping off a crew and leaving. Being present and hands-on allowed him to make excellent suggestions for improving the scope of work as he deconstructed a retaining wall and landscaped the area. He stayed in touch with us from quote, to beginning and end of the 2 week project. His suggestion to landscape the area instead of replacing a failing retaining wall improved the looks of our yard and solved a drainage problem. His time spent on the job was exactly what he promised and he rearranged his schedule to rush our project since our home was for sale. He cares about his customers. I would rehire him for any type of work in his many areas of expertise. David is experienced, takes care and pride in his work and stays in touch better than any contractor I've ever worked with. excellent. I hired david based on his reviews and I was not disappointed. he knows his stuff. all rainwater diverted away from house-had to regrade, install catch basin and reroute. also did crawlspace dehumidify and mold intervention on a small spot which was just beginning. good work is worth its price. you get what you pay for

All the projects were performed on time and exceeded my expectations. David sent me periodic photos of the progress he was making which was very helpful as i was not on site when the work was performed. He was very respectful and easy to work with.

I hired Gibson Grading and Construction to inspect the foundation on a home I was purchasing during the Due Diligence period after a home inspection found a major moisture and mold issue in the unfinished basement and attic. The owner, David Gibson, provided a reasonable quote to resolve these issues, I was able to use his quote to negotiate down the price on the home and I purchased it. The proposal provided consisted of installing an engineered drainage system where water was not draining away from the foundation, coating the unfinished basement with an isq waterproofing agent, mold mitigation in the basement and attic, repair gutter drainage issues and grade a large 7' wide swell on the top of the hill to divert water away from the home. David was polite, punctual and professional and the job was done right. During the repair work, David found a few other minor issues with leaking downspouts and a recommendation to replace mulch with rock near the foundation and repaired them at no additional cost. I was so happy with David's work that I have hired him to completely renovate my deck and I am on his schedule. David has been in business over 20 years, owns all his construction equipment and has what it takes to get the job done right. The numerous Angie's List positive reviews was a factor in my decision to hire this company. I strongly recommend Gibson Grading and Construction for any project if you need an honest job done at a reasonable price.

Gibson Grading was awesome!! They were very professional and courteous and always on time and attentive to what we wanted done. Will probably use them again in the near future for a retaining wall and steps.

I called David this morning and received a call back within five minutes. What a pleasant surprise to have him come to our house within thirty minute to look at our site and quote us a very reasonable price. David graded a small area for us and put down road bond. While he was here, my husband spoke to him about additional work on our driveway for another time. We received a quote for that work, but before leaving David cleared the sides of our driveway to improve runoff after rains, no additional charge. We enjoyed our experience with David. His work ethic, professionalism, and consideration to go an extra mile are much appreciated. We will call again!

I can't say enough good things about David and they work they did. He was on schedule, within budget and kept us in the loop throughout the project. He went out of his way to make sure we understood the process and spent time explaining potential future issues that we need to keep an eye on. We will definitely be hiring Gibson again.
