DO NOT USE THEM Update: 4/25/2019 - After a year developed a leak. Contacted them, scheduled a day and time, at last minute canceled, they asked to reschedule. Called back three time to reschedule. They will not return calls. Seems all they want is your money, no support or service. DO NOT USE THEM. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Called based on personal review from a personal friend. As others have noted. The cleanup was bad. I had to go out and purchase a rolling magnet to pickup the nails all over the yard, sidewalks and driveways. After the first sweep in just a small area I picked up almost 100 nails. After doing the yard and areas surrounding the house, about another 100 nails. During the second sweep about 50 nails. I kept finding them in driveway. After going on the roof, I found about 30 nails just sitting on the roof. Sloppy. I am still finding nails. I have been told that the company changed hands to the Son at some point, seems the service did not follow. There was one tricky area that was supposed to be done, but after showing up, they said they could not do it. Another roofer looked at it to finish the area and said this company could have done it, but choose to make an excuse. During the reroof they had to come out several time to stop roof from leaking in house. Service after the reroof was not what as expected. Will not recommend. Will note, the roof itself seems to be good work. After 6 months, attempted to contact them again about some questionable flashing identified by several other contractors, to see is I can get some spare shingles, and to verify the exact color since they did not leave any information and would not provide it from earlier requests. Actually talked with someone at company, and again would not provide any service after the Initial purchase. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
Description of Work: DO NOT USE THEM, UNRELIABLE SERVICE AND SUPPORT.

The roofing job went well, it was everything else that was a mess. There was trash left all over our yard, shingles in the trees, a saw left in the middle of the yard, and numerous nails in the flower beds and driveways. We don't know if the cricket was installed since we can't see it, the gutters were not fixed due to the excuse they couldn't fix it because of the way the house was built and they couldn't remove the old gutter covers (even though my husband can reach up and pull them off). They did replace only the gutter covers where they had been pulled off previously by someone else. They didn't fix the trim or the piece of siding we asked them to fix. When they removed the old dish from the roof, they just left wires hanging instead of cutting and removing them. They came to get their check on time and since it was sprinkling, the guy didn't want to do a walk around. We called the next day to tell them about the mess left in the yard and the work that was incomplete. A guy came out and told us that he was at another job cleaning up the mess left there. He took most of the trash away, fixed the siding and cut the wires from the dish. On Monday, my husband called to express his dissatisfaction about the mess and the work that still was not done. We were told they'd come out and look at it and fix it. A week went by, nothing, called again and said they would put a downspout in for the gutter. Another week, not done. We are now over three weeks and no word. We will not use again. If they could have done as good of work on the other things we were assured they could do, we'd be happy. Professionalism, to me, is doing what you said you were going to do. Also, the owner said they only get complaints once every six months or so about a mess being left, unfortunately the guy who came and cleaned up the mess said he was just doing the same thing at another job site, so we were lied to about. We also have two tools, a broom and a magnet thing, they insist the broom is not there's. We know the broom is not ours and I don't think people go around randomly leaving brooms at people's homes. Yes, the roof was done well...but everything else is a mess. We will never ever pay for a job (they wanted their money without a walk around) until we are 100% satisfied.
Description of Work: We had a roofing job to be done. Mr. Limeberry seemed very knowledgable and advised not getting a metal roof because of the design of our home. At the time of the estimate, he was advised that we needed a cricket built, a corner of our trim fixed, we needed a better gutter system with a repair in a corner and a piece of siding fixed. He said no problem, his guys could do anything. This extra repairs were mentioned AGAIN when we called to say they had the job and three more times during the week while they were here (via phone). I was told over and over again it would get done. I even left a note for the workers to let me know if they needed another piece of siding to make the repair, they never said anything.

They did a horrible job! My roof started leaking and I took them to small claims court and I won and they never paid. I took them back to small claims court for not paying and they still have not paid me. I would not use them again in the future.

Mr. Limeberry estimated the job at $350 and said that it would take at least a few hours to fix. He came out to repair the roof, which only took about 45 minutes. I asked if that meant the job would be less, but he flatly told me that his estimate was what he was charging. I decided to pay him and asked him what would happen if the leak continued. He said he would come out once during the following year to fix the problem if it continued. It later became clear that the leak had not stopped. I called Mr. Limeberry to let him know and to ask him to return to fix the problem. I spoke with his receptionist, Sabrina Gunter. At first, she could not locate our customer records. I found my receipt and gave her the date. Then she could not figure out who did the repairs (there is a Jr. and Sr.). I described Mr. Limeberry and she said that was the Sr. She said she would speak to him and schedule a date, but after seven calls, and several unkept promises to call me back or schedule a time for a repair, neither Ms. Gunter nor Mr. Limeberry contacted me or took any action. I contacted the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce for help, because he listed in his ads that he was a member, but they explained to me that he was not a member and had kept using their logo, despite their requests for him to stop doing so. I also found out (after the fact, sorry to say) that he has a terrible rating at the Better Business Bureau site.

Extremely prompt in giving us an estimate (and picking up the check.) He had also been very responsive when we had lost shingles in a bad storm several years ago, coming out quickly and providing excellent service. For the new roof, he ordered the shingles we requested (which are somewhat hard to get) and his workmen arrived always as scheduled. They worked very hard and seemed to want to do a good job for us. We paid him quickly, being pleased with their work and the looks of the roof. About a month later, we had a hard rain, and a bad leak developed in the dining room. He returned our call promptly, diagnosed the problem over the phone and sent someone out to make a repair which he said would solve the problem. My husband's calls regarding who would be repairing the ceiling were unanswered. Another hard rain about a month after that resulted in the ceiling continuing to leak, and he continues to refuse to return calls. We will have to have another company repair it before we can get the ceiling repaired. We have reported this company to Better Business Bureau and will have to pursue it legally. But we hope to prevent others from having our experience. We are very disappointed in him, since he seemed eager to give us the roof we wanted. We also liked his workers. But whoever answers his phone has no "customer service" ability - their attitude seems to be "Too bad for you." He doesn't have an answering machine and they do not give out his cell phone number, so we wonder if he gets our messages. We like to use local businesses, but his lack of follow-up really makes us suspicious of everyone.

The area around my chimney is also showing signs of incorrect work around it. As of 12/15/09: I called him dozens of times, and when I finally spoke to him he tried to say that he didn?t have a contract with me because he had the contract in my wife?s maiden name. I explained that the check for the work was written in both of our names, and I sent him 3 certified letters stating what he still needed to do to correct the roof. A few weeks later, he finally came and looked at it. He admitted that there was a problem in the living room. I showed him the skylight, and he said that he told the real estate people that hired him to do this that the skylight needed to be replaced. They told him to do the cheapest job possible and to just worry about the roof. The real estate person he is referring to is my sister-in-law, and she never said anything like that. I told him that my wife is a building contractor, and the previous owner took the cost of repairs out of closing, so we would never say to do it as cheap as possible. He wouldn?t fix anything and I took him to small claims court. The court was with my 100% and ordered him to pay $5000. He did not pay, so I had to go back to court. He had 20 days to give exemptions, again he didn?t answer. I went to court a third time (paying court fees again). This took me to the Sheriff, but they said they have 90 days to serve him. Eventually the sheriff called me and told me that the man had nothing to his name, because it is all in his wife?s name, which means it is technically not attached to his business.
Description of Work: He stripped off the old roofing of my house and installed a new roof. He finished the work in a timely fashion. I called him back and told him there was a problem. I told him that my gutter guards were out of place and hanging all over the edge of my house. I called him and he said that they were old and should not be reused. I asked him to clean up the area, I came home and found one hanging from the gutter and the rest in my driveway. They did not haul them off, so I took them to the dump myself. I found nails everywhere that they did not remove. The edge protectors were not put on the roof. Several weeks later my skylight started leaking. I observed loose nails in the area. I called him five or six times about the issue. I came home one day and it was cleaned up, so I think he came over and fixed it.
