Awesome visit. Called several businesses for quotes and Sandpiper did everything for less than half the cost of a competitor's estimate. Everyone was friendly and professional. We will be calling them again when we need additional work done.

Pricing was fair. The quality of the new unit is very good. They came when they promised, and did a very professional job of the installation. They were very conscious of not damaging floors and other objects in the condo. I'm very satified with the work.

This company is great to work with. They are easy to schedule, and will come out to make things perfect. The new system they installed was slightly larger than the old one. They had to come out and redo a pipe because it stuck out past the door frame. They did this in a timely manner and made sure everything was working perfectly. 444

Every person I dealt with from this company was great. The person who answered the phone the day I called was pleasant and helpful. Both the sales person and the service techs showed up at the exact time appointments were scheduled. There was no high pressure sales. Installation took slightly longer than they thought it would but was finished faster than I had anticipated so no issues there. Just a really great company to deal with from start to finish.

Superior service. Quick response for estimate. Representative (Jeff) worked with customer doing research as to best system for our unique coastal home configuration. Of the three estimates that I received from various Heating and AC providers...Sandpiper was the best value estimate. Installation team of Dwight and Carlos were professional and courteous. Every respectful of our privacy and home. They arrived on time completely covered our floors to avoid any dirt tracking into our home and finished the installation in half the estimated time. Could not be happier. The number one rated Heating and AC company in our region currently does the annual maintenance on our heating and AC systems (3 different units)...(and provided me the highest of all my estimates)... but I'm now shifting my maintenance contract to Sandpiper as they earned my confidence, not to mention they are $30.00 cheaper. We WereThinking About Changing Heat And A/C Service Providers, And Stopped By Sandpiper To Get Some Info. We Said We'd Call Them When We Decided. We Got Home An Hour Later, And Our A/C That Had Been Working A Few Hours Before Was Now Not Working! We Called, They Understood, They Came within An Hour, And it Was Fixed Shortly Afterwards. We Are Now Signed Up For Their Yearly Program! !

I was given fairly high (phone) quotes by several companies in the area, and one company said the entire unit needed to be replaced, which I already knew was not true. Rocco Gentile (owner) actually spoke to me on the phone to discuss my concerns, and was very polite and up front. Sandpiper came out promptly, serviced the AC, replacing a coil and Freon, and stuck to their quoted price. I would (and will) hire them again in a heartbeat!

Went very well. Customer service could not have been better. Came same day we called to report problem. Got us up and running until they could come back to replace unit. Very punctual and professional. They discovered a problem which was result of other company's shotty work so the owner of Sandpiper came over himself to see what could be done to retify the problem. Decided on a solution, came back later in the day to check on worker's progress. Best part is he did not charge us for the extra work! Would definitely call them back and recommend them highly to anyone looking for heating and air contractor!!

I would not recommend them whatsoever. They duct system is just completely terrible, I guess the design is what is bad about it. They tried to skip every which way possible in heating the home. It was hard for the house to get heated in the winter and cool in the summer. Some rooms would be hot and some rooms would be OK. There is no decent airflow. I had to call them up to see if they can try to fix it. They installed the incorrect size ducts and returns. There are not enough returns in the home, so they had to come in and install another return and do a different duct opening. But the problem is, the system upstairs with all the ducts being twisted and turned with kinks in it, the house doesn't have a good airflow. I had tests done by another company on the amount of air that comes out of each return and it was low, so the airflow is not sufficient.

I called for service on my 10 yr old (low quality) heat pump. I have a service contract so the response was immediate. They tried hard to save the unit but it's time was up. They sat down with me and discussed the options. No pressure just the facts. When I choose a system the Gentleman made a call and then told me the installation would take place in two days. They were here at the prescribed time and went strait to work. I was told it would take about 8 hours and they finished early. The only small problem was, that when ispected by the town, there was an issue with the way one of the ducts was run thru the framing in the attic. Sandpiper returned and fixed the problem in a couple hours. Over all a good experiance and I have will be renewing my service contract with them.

Jeff York, Co-Owner, Sandpiper Heating and Air Conditioning, LLC , is a professional and was a pleasure with whom to work. He was prompt and professional in all our dealings with him. He knows his business and was straightforward in advising us on the products he had available to choose from, giving us the outcome we were looking to achieve. Most importantly, Jeff listened to what we were trying to accomplish then gave us some product brochures to read and review. Sandpiper Heating and Air Conditioning, LLC was one of seven contractors we solicited to give us a quote. Jeff's quote and presentation was the most professional and detailed, and the options he suggested as part of the replacement of our old system were what we had in mind. Jeff was at our home on three occasions to prepare a bid and survey the job. We had questions about the details of the work as compared to the other potential bidders. Jeff's proposal included most, if not all of the "extras" quoted by the others. Sandpiper replaced our old heat pump with a new Trane XL16i three ton, 16 SEER, with the Trane "Hyperion XL (TAM8) air handler and the Trane "Clean Effects" air filtration system, repaired and reconfigured the duct system to be more efficient, and added an additional three returns in our bedrooms. The price also included a top of the line Trane "Comfortlink II" internet compatible programmable thermostat that we can adjust using our computer or cell phone. We felt the total value of the package was well worth the product and service we received. The job was completed in one day, and Jeff and the Sandpiper installation crew did an outstanding job with the installation of the equipment and the three new cold air returns. Also, the clean up afterwards was quick and thorough. Jeff has followed up to insure total satisfaction with the products and service provided by Sandpiper. We are extremely pleased with all aspects of the work performed by Sandpiper Heating and Air Conditioning.

It went excellent. I was appreciative to the fact that I run a very huge business and they allowed me to have someone meet them there, make the repair and pay by phone. It is hot here at the beach and I am sure their service call volume was up due to summer traffic in the area. If you do not have a digital thermostat, I highly recommend them. The electricity bills went down and the hose seems to be cooler. The time zone features allow you to make gradual increases and decreases in the temperature to fit your time that you spend there.

I spend around $150 a year. They are professional, always on time and good. The unit has been good as well.
