I cannot say enough about this group. They are very easy to work with, they do excellent work and their pricing is very competitive. Jennifer in the office is a pleasure to deal with, and Shirley and Jacob both came out to the project house in a timely manner and were very clear and concise about what they were doing. We will definitely be using them in the future and highly recommend them to others.

The whole job went exceedingly well. Matt was particularly helpful in helping us decide exactly what we wanted to do and made several changes that we decided on in mid-job without complaint or question. The job went quickly and every part of it was completed professionally. We had S & S replace our windows several years again with similar excellent results and they stand behind their work and products. We highly recommend them!

It took 3 months for the door to be ordered, arrive & be scheduled for installing. However, Matt was efficient & neat with the removal of the old door & installation of the new door. It fit very well.

S&S Siding is TOP NOTCH. They do excellent work and they get the job done in a timely manner, even though when they were at our house we were experiencing extreme rain! They told us they would be finished in a week and they were, and the work was excellent. Their price is far better than any other quotes we received as well. I would not recommend anyone but S&S Siding!!

Very well-they were quick & for most part were able to do the majority of the work from the outside. They arrived very early & spent all day (ended roughly around 4?-didn't check the time) *there were close to 30 windows, one specialty window that a 2 man team installed. They asked that we move everything away from the windows to avoid any damages. Advised us to avoid putting items back for at least 24 hours to allow the seals to set properly. They arrived before I was fully awake-they want to get it done in 1 day! Would advise that you set your alarm early!

We were very happy to find such a gem of a contractor. No money was asked for prior to work starting. Every minute we waited for them to begin was worth it. We were patient with their schedule and was worth the wait. The good contractors are always booked up and will take longer to get started. Weather played a factor in the delay, but nobody can control that. The father/son crew that did the work were professional and paid attention to detail. The quality of the work along with the awesome pricing sets this contractor apart from all the competition. You will be very happy if you select S&S to be your siding/door/window home improvement experts. We cannot say enough good things about Shirley and her staff

This was the best experience we have ever had with a contractor from start to finish (and that is saying something!). Shirley came to give us a quote and it was like your favorite aunt coming to visit. She is personable, knowledgeable, friendly and NOT PUSHY!!! She is down to earth and knows her stuff (she's been doing this for 35 years!) She measured every window in our house, pulled out her calculator and gave us a price...simple! The price she gave us never changed, and EVERYTHING she said would happen did. It took three weeks for the windows to be made (in NC!) and they are GORGEOUS! Jennifer, Shirley's daughter-in-law, runs the office and is SO PLEASANT and friendly. She called a couple of times to keep us posted on progress and to answer any questions we may have thought of. Every phone call was professional and enjoyable. Jacob, Shirley's son, and his helper, Kevin, came exactly on time and explained what there were doing. They were so easy to work with and have around the house, it was like your brothers were out working on the house. They were sweet to our dogs, watched out for our backyard chickens when they went in and out of the gate. and were generally awesome to deal with. We like to talk and be friendly with people that come to the house to work, and the four of us just hit it off. We LOVE Jacob! I can't wait until he comes back to replace our siding next year. My recommendation? DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT HIRING ANYONE ELSE! Shirley's quote was LESS THAN HALF of the one we got from Reece Builders, and that didn't include the large bay window. The customer service is OUTSTANDING! This is a good quality and HONEST company... hard to find!

Alsome, put in 13 windows for me in 5 hours

First the owner came out and we so enjoyed her friendly way that we trusted her enough not to get a 2nd bid. Not to mention her experience and knowledge. She had good references. Once we committed, she worked us right in. Her crew was top notch and easy to have around. They finished as anticipated. We even changed our mind on something and they quickly adapted. Excellent choice!!

Shirley was a pleasure to work with. Gave initial estimate several months prior to work beginning and honored initial estimate. Was very responsive via telephone for any questions and/or issues that arose. Add-ons like gutter replacement and new shutters were provided at a nominal cost. Work was done by crew of 2 people with one person doing the cutting and the other doing the hanging, so all cuts and hanging were consistent. The final product is beautiful and my home looks better than all others on same road (even though some even had recent paint jobs). The quality of work was incredible. She provided most competitive price of all estimates and did top quality work. I will definitely use her again for future needs and recommend her highly to anyone needing vinyl siding or window jobs.

Our home is a 102 year old farmhouse that belonged to my husband's grandparents. I can't begin to describe how beautiful our house looks now. Shirley and her crew were absolutely wonderful to work with. They were always prompt and stayed late to get the job done. One thing that impressed me most was that they cleaned up every evening before they left. Going with S&S Siding was the best decision we made to restore the old home place.

Shirley was very knowledgeable and friendly. She made the whole project easy. Our house is over 100 years old and they took care of the whole project with attention to detail.

I have used them a lot. This was a custom thing that they did for me. The price was extraordinary competitive. The sided a good portion of my house last year, then came out, and sided the rest of my house this year and next year, they are going to come out and do the last piece for me. They come out and review the situation. For me there was no money down, I signed the contract; we set up a time. They showed up on time and did exactly what they said they would do. They did it completely to my satisfaction and did it in the timeframe that they said they would do it. There were no surprises and overall they were a pleasure to deal with. I wish that everybody that I dealt with was like them. That is how great they are. They are going to be coming back in the spring to do some more work.

Shirley is awesome. She came out months earlier and gave us an estimate. We had to wait on a bank loan before we could give her the ok to do the work. She was very patience with us. Her son and crew came out. They installed 23 windows. It took them two days and they worked more than a full day each day. They were onsite for a good 12 hours each day. They cleaned up after themselves. The windows are great. We noticed an instant change in our heating bill and our cooling bill has been way lower than last year (granted, it hasn't been as hot as last yeat), but the unit doesn't work as much even on hot days. They were friendly, polite and a pleasure to work with. I will definitely use them again.

S&S was referred to me by 5 Star Bath. Since 5 Star Bath did such a wonderful job on two of my bathrooms I decided to use S&S. The outside of my screen room was an ugly panel type siding. S&S put a beautiful vinyl siding on my room and windows. Now I have a comfortable gorgeous family room that gives me the outdoor feel of a screen room yet it's an environmentally controlled sitting or family room. I was so pleased with the quality and workmanship of Sean and his crew! The clean up they did was better than when they came to my home. I highly recommend S&S to anyone that wants a class "A" job without the expense. S&S has reasonable prices and gives A+ service.

The company owner came to our home with a sample window,explained what we could expect, and gave us an estimate. We accepted her estimate and was told it would take 2-3 weeks for the windows to arrive. After 2 weeks , she called and scheduled the work. A two man crew arrived on the day and time we were told, and proceeded with the work. All window sashes were replaced, and frames wrapped on that day. They returned the next day and installed the 2 storm doors. We are pleased with the quality of the windows and work, and the clean-up afterwards. We had talked to Shirley, the owner, at the home show about a month before she came to our home for the estimate, so we were somewhat prepared. We also have a neighbor who used S&S about a year ago, for windows and siding, and was able to see the results of the company's work, which helped us with our decision.

This company was recommended by an excellent roofing company that I worked with. S & S Siding was excellent to work with; they’ve been in business for at least 20 years. I wanted a particular kind of siding that Shirley found. She had a huge list of color samples, too. Everything was matched how we wanted it to match. She did the job within the time frame that was quoted and everything is great! The crew was incredibly professional. We’ve gotten a lot of compliments on our siding. I plan on working with them again this year!

The total experience using S&S Siding was a pleasure from first contact with Jennifer at the office to the two gentleman that came to do all the repairs. I requested them to come last minute prior to an approaching storm so the house would not get wet again after it just dried out for the week. They came after dark and set up lights after working a full day at another job and still did not have dinner. They were courteous, professional and took care in working cleanly and efficiently. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone that needs siding work in a heartbeat and not just for the fact of them coming above and beyond the call of duty, but for the great work they did. My problem is finally fixed after having many different workers come to my home over a span of 8 years. They seen a problem within minutes of being at my home that no one- not even inspectors had caught. The money I spent for their work I thought was very fair and was a fraction of what I have spent through the years on others! Thank you S&S Siding!
