This was the worst, and I mean the worst experience of my life. The whole process was difficult. Anytime an issue came up, they hid it or lied about it. Our home failed inspection 9 times prior to final inspection. There were so many issues. Damages to nearly every surface, all sheetrock, floors, cabinets, countertops, woodwork, exterior issues. Bad grading of land, water issues. The home once assembled was also built wrong, with upstairs dormers that are built incorrectly with walls blocking the windows. We also bought the upgraded package and the 1200sq ft house ended up cost $165,879. All of those upgrades were left off, none were put on the home, then the sales center lied and said we did not get those upgrades. Mind you the contract is NOT Itemised, so they tell you all these things come with the package you bought, but then NONE are installed or completed. We have been going in circles and have been harassed by the owners of this company for 3 years. They are harassing us to remove reviews. Just 2 days ago, 12/7/2018. Brittany McKeown, One of the Owners, called or messaged the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint saying we NEVER Bought a Home from them. This is just too funny. Only when there are facts to be covered up does someone LIE. Well, it has been nearly 3 years since we bought this house, we put nearly $60,000 more into repairs and making the house perfect so that we can sell it, cut our losses and leave this horrible horrible part of our lives behind. Its too upsetting to stay, the memories here are ruined by their scheming and lying about everything. If you do not know a lot about buying a house, First Educate yourselves. Get a grasp on what it is supposed to cost. None of these homes should cost nearly $140 a sq foot like we paid. Your home should be less than $90 a sq ft. In total we were overcharged by $30,000 on their end because they hid facts about pricing and such, we learned later the true cost. Do not let these people scam you. But that is who you are putting your money and trust into when you buy you and your family a new home from Carolina Custom Homes of Burlington.

My experience with Carolina Custom Homes Of Burlington went great. This was my first time building and I felt very comfortable with each step of mu building journey.
