Excellent! Turns out it was an internal blown fuse (non-user serviceable) but Brandon from Appliance Dr diagnosed it quickly & efficiently and even had a new fuse with him. Within 30 mins of his punctual arrival we were good as new. And with the junk appliances they are building these days (which are designed to die in no more than 5 years) I'd bet this 1994 model will still be running in another 20 years. The perfectly fine Whirlpool Refrigerator which we purchased at the same time as the microwave and put in the basement after we opted to upgrade to a stainless look has outlasted both a brand new Samsung and an LG. They just don't make anything like they used to but Brandon and Jim @ Appliance Dr provide very competent, old school service, especially compared to the clowns that were sent out to "fix" our broken dishwasher and fridges under Lowes extended warranty plans but who could never get it right and damaged our house in the process of trying! BTW, They don't have the shop on Webb Ave anymore and work out of their homes.

Arrived on time and quickly assessed the problem. Broken glass fouled motor. Was able to replace motor the next day. Great and speedy service.

Our Frigidaire front-loading washing machine stopped spinning. My husband looked online for possible issues and determined it was most likely the door latch. This happened on Saturday. On Monday morning, my husband called The Appliance Doctor to schedule an appointment, and they were able to schedule us for lunchtime. The technician arrived on time, and because of the diagnostic questions he asked over the phone, brought the appropriate door lock assembly with him. He was able to diagnose that the issue was indeed the door latch very quickly, and completed the entire repair in less than 30 minutes. In addition to the repair, the technician cleaned the pump and checked for debris. He was polite and very informative!

We scheduled a service call with the dispatcher. Several questions were asked relating to our model and the problems we were experiencing. The technician arrived on time and was very clean, professional, and polite. Because of the questions being asked in advance, the technican had all of the necessary parts to complete the repair on his truck and there was no delay. The technician completed the work, gave maintenance tips, and cleaned the entire area completely before leaving.
