He did a nice job for me and did the job in record time.

It was the most unprofessional job I have ever encountered. “Mike” said he would do re-taping and mudding in one day by putting on thin layers that would dry faster. My husband paid him the cost of the job which was $500 without realizing that the layering was only half way done and there had not been any sanding. I called Mike that night to schedule a return visit. He came two more -the last time being on a Friday morning. My husband said he reeked of pot every time. I don’t care that he smokes, but please not on the job. He brought a helper with him each time and the total time worked was approximately 8 hours over 3 visits. Twice he rescheduled at the last moment. Mike did bring his own supplies and plastic and we provided the ladder. The work was left unfinished in the living room and sunroom and the work on the bedroom ceiling looks Horrible! The last time Mike worked, he and his assistant went to “lunch” on a Friday and he said they would be back afterwards. When he didn’t show my husband called him. Mike said his wife’s car had broken down and then hung up on my husband-never to call back again. We really don’t believe the car story-it was Friday afternoon after all. He damaged our commissioned mantle putting 2 deep nicks in it on the left side. There was drywall mud dripped on the walls in all three rooms. There was also a couple of gouges made on an archway to the sunroom-we have repaired them now. My husband also has had to finish the mudding and sanding that was left undone. This is my first experience with Angi. We only had ONE contractor contact us. Mike came by for an estimate, we accepted it, we paid him and he failed to finish the job. Mike was always polite. But I think he was way over his head. If he had just told us he didn’t know how to repair the bedroom ceiling, we either would have accepted a lower bid or kept on looking for the right person. I thought my experience with Angi would have been much better than choosing someone in my own. Do you have a guarantee for people your company recommends? Thank you for your time. Patricia Smith .

It went great! Gave me an estimate for the drywall work I needed done. Work was completed in a timely manner and & quality exceeded my expectations. Quality work & reasonable priced.. will definitely recommend!
