I have a home warranty with American Home Shield (AHS) and called in service about a Heat Exchanger that I was told to be cracked by another provider that does maintenance for me. When Air Medics came out, they saw the crack, but claimed it was "just a scratch". I was fairly certain what I saw was not a scratch, so I asked AHS for another opinion. It took 2 weeks for this to happen, since Air Medic neglected to submit a report to AHS, even after urging from me and AHS reps. Finally, the next provider came out and clearly saw the crack immediately. We shone a light though one side, in the dark, and the light made it easily through the "scratch". For putting my family at harm through pure laziness, I rate Air Medics an F, and urge everyone to look elsewhere.
Description of Work: Inspecting the Heat Exchanger for a crack.

Not very well. They were over 30 min late for each appt. No phone call to warn about being late.
Description of Work: I used this company once before to service my Heat unit (selected via AHS home warranty service call). I should have leanred when they were 35 min late for the appt. I left after 30 min and of course they called to say there were at the house. They told me nothing was wrong and that "unit needs cleaning before further diagnosis". I decided to give them another chance and have them come back to clean the unit. Again, my 8:30am appt didn't show. I left at 9:00am and when the guy called at 9:10am to say he was there, I told him I had already left for work. When I asked about the lateness, he said he didn't know what time the appt was, he thought around 9am. I am going with another company with a higher priority on customer satisfaction.

The technician was very friendly and willing to answer all of my questions. He seemed knowledgeable. The price seemed to be pretty standard. I searched around on the internet, to see what kind of prices were out there.
Description of Work: They cleaned my outside heating/air conditioning unit, you know the big box.
