+ -1 moreAs always, I had a good experience. Rick takes the time to explain what's needed and why and then does a great job of it. Prices for product and for service work are reasonable. And, oh, how I appreciate the patient help he and Liz provide when there's new stuff to learn or I hit a glitch with something!
Description of Work: This was a big job: complete replacement of laptop -- including the purchase of a good, new piece of equipment, the transfer of all data -- which was considerable in volume, the custom preparation of an external disk drive, the purchase of a spare power pack, and finally, patiently teaching me how to use the new operating system, newer software, etc.

They saved every bit of my data, including my itunes in a format that I understood and could then transfer on my own to another computer at home. I feel that the cost was reasonable, the service was efficient and accurate, and I will be going back to them when I have the need.
Description of Work: My 7 year old laptop had become increasingly unreliable and ten contracted an infection. Even though I know better, I had not backed it up in ages. I took the laptop in for an assessment on: 1) if it could be saved, 2) is it financially WORTH saving, and 3) will I ever see my iTunes again? They evaluated the computer's condition for free, and gave me a detailed description of its problems, the approximate cost and time to fix all of them and a list of options. In the end, I had them save all my data to a portable hard drive that I owned already.

Description of Work: I had an issue with my computer. A man charged me over $400 to clean cookies out. Then I had a man who literally took my hard drive out and was going to resell it. This man corrected my whole problem, plus my hard drive within two days time.
