Log Home Maintenance showed up when they said they would. They stayed on the job until it was done. There was a scope of work and firm Price contract that was approved before they started. The work was completed in a timely manner with excellent quality. The job site was kept clean and toatalky cleaned up when they left.

We have used Erin McCutcheon with Log Home Maintenance for years to keep our vacation log home in pristine shape. Erin completed media blasting, caulking and restaining in addition to the annual log wash. Erin and her crew not only took great care of our log home but the decks surrounding the house as well. Log Home Maintenance did a great job chinking, sealing leaks, and staining our log cabin. They were very professional, kept the area neat and did top quality work. Erin is very knowledgeable and experienced in log home maintenance. I highly recommend them for your project and plan to use them again.

The guys did a great job on my log cabin, and I am very pleased with the results. That being said, the final cost was MUCH GREATER than what I expected after the initial quote. It was actually 30% higher than I was led to believe initially. Please make sure you get an accurate quote before using this company, or you will be very surprised with the final bill.

Erin and Log Home Maintenance, Inc. are simply the best. Erin is extremely knowledgable, efficient and detail oriented. She's also very easy to work with and accommodating. She went out of her way to make sure everything at my cabin was completed to my specifications/satisfaction, including color matching all the trim paint, etc. I would highly recommended her and her work crew (who were extremely diligent and conscientious) for any log cabin repair, staining, maintenance, etc.

Weather and neglect had left the finish missing or blackened with dirt and fungus, etc on our retirement cabin. In the 4 years before we retired and moved in, invasive Asian ladybugs had crawled through every possible opening in the fall to take up residence for the winter and then try to get out unsuccessfully every spring leaving bushels for us to vacuum up. A forest of ravenous Pileated Woodpeckers (at least 2!) dined on the carpenter bee larvae in the beams and window frames. After we moved to the cabin full time, we and it needed rescuing. We did some research (mostly my husband) which included a free Perma-C**** Seminar in Knoxville, TN., where we met Erin. Log Cabin Maintenance, Inc., owned and efficiently and expertly managed by Erin McCutcheon-Kath, is one of the best contracting experiences my husband and I have ever had. Our cabin is smaller than a lot she works on but she and her staff treated us fabulously. Erin?s knowledge shows through from the beginning of the estimate and contract process to the last minute of clean up. She explains every procedure, the reason for it and answers all questions willingly. She has trained her staff so well, we felt confident leaving our home in their care whenever we needed to leave. All her staff is very well trained and they all have an exemplary work ethic. The staff will work as long as they need to everyday to get the job done. They totally redid the finish on the cabin from taking it down to bare wood using environmentally friendly ground up corn-cob media and through many other steps to staining and putting on the clear coat at the end. The repairs and caulking were done with precision. The result is just beautiful. Erin shared lots of extra information from a great shade of green to use for trim to the best way to clean windows. She uses all the best products. She and her staff did extras that were not in the original contract for no charge. The staff was meticulous in the clean up each day and at the end and seemed really proud of their work using the special skills that Erin has taught them. We will work with Erin and Log Cabin Maintenance, Inc. in the future to keep the cabin looking great. Erin does not make any false promises about what the woodpeckers and bees may do in the future, but with her help we can maintain the cabin?s appearance and worth.
