He was easy to work with and on time

My AC quit working when the temperature was pushing 90°. Southern Comfort and Heating was quick to respond and analyzed the problem right away. They had my AC up and running in less than 24 hours. The service was excellent, friendly, and a great value. The serviceman even cleaned the inside of my AC unit and checked my ceiling vents to make sure the filters were clean. I will definitely use Southern Comfort and Heating for any future heat pump needs and highly recommend them to others. A+ job!

I am a Disabled Veteran, Sgt. U.S. Army. I was also a Mechanical Engineer for over 20 years. I shared this info to let you know that Bruce is no scam artist or simple parts changer. Bruce has been reliable for many years. He is: - Bountiful with knowledge - Technically profeciant - Very efficient with time - Performs very neat work - Very fair in parts and labor We might share our first name; I just hope I'm not as ugly looking as he is. Detail of work: From observing that my thermostat was in the off position and the fan mode was in Auto, he knew to immediately to focus on the air handler motor controls. I have a variable speed motor that is controlled by low voltage and high voltage. By disconnecting all the low voltage signal wires from the relay switches in the main control box, he isolated the problem to the controls that are built into the back of the motor. Problem: Bad motor controller. He explained that you can buy a used motor controller but you can't buy a new controller without a new motor. Bruce replaced the fan motor and it solved the problem.
