Paul is a skilled builder who did everything right. Courteous and professional, he and his helper knocked the job out in 6 days. I liked that he made sure the job was being done to my liking by asking.."Would you like it this way or what way?" I would highly recommend him for you home improvement project.

My husband and I are extremely pleased with Paul's workmanship, as well as that of Maya and the others who worked on our project. They turned our open uncovered deck into a beautiful 4-season sunroom and full bath. Even working in cold and rainy winter conditions, they still made rapid progress on building our new rooms. Any questions or issues we had were addressed immediately, and they cleaned up thoroughly every day when they were done working. We would definitely hire Ragan Construction for any future projects.

Mr. Ragan came to my house to give me an estimate. He took measurements and notes. He said he'd send me a written estimate. Received it via text. A couple of days later, I told him I accepted his bid, and would he call me. We spoke on the phone, and made arrangements for him to write up a contract for me to sign. On the day he was supposed to bring me the contract he sent me a text saying he wasn't going to do the job, got a bigger one and he was starting tomorrow. So, Mr. Ragan's word means nothing. Don't count on him to do your job unless he doesn't have anything better to choose from.

To use the old saying, "Paul goes the extra mile," is an understatement. Paul goes an extra two miles. Paul Ragan is a friendly professional. Paul does not believe in short cuts. The job took a few of days which was agreed upon and reasonable. Something you don't see from many contractors is that each and every end of the work day he cleaned the jobsite. On my job Paul worked with his son Brandon, also a true friendly professional. A question always asked is, would you hire Paul again, without a doubt. Paul worked with us save some money by pulling the permit (with Paul’s help) and doing the demo of the old deck. Work was done ahead of schedule.

The work went very smoothly, except for some unavoidable delays caused by wintry weather. Paul and his assistant, Casey, were hard-working, courteous and prompt. They performed the work as quickly as could be expected and I am still amazed at how wonderful the room looks now.

We added a new deck and storage room in a very difficult location Paul Ragan lead the whole process from start to finish. He was instrumental in the design, obtained the building permit, and built the addition to match the existing house. He payed close attention to detail of the existing house and made the addition seamlessly fit in. He kept his promised timeline, listened to our ideas, and we are thrilled with the result.

The Project included a small open porch with a gabled shingle roof which led through french doors into the 8 windowed sunroom with a ceramic tile floor, 2 ceiling fans, 6 recessed lights, and 2 suntunnels. Bay windows & a french door were taken out to provide a large open entry into the diningroom and kitchen creating an open concept look. The finished room blends so perfectly with the architecture of the house both inside and out that it looks like it was always there. The project took six weeks as promised and is above and beyond our expectations! The “Ragan team” not only is dedicated to quality materials and workmanship, but also maintaining a positive and unruffled attirude when encountering “bumps along the road” which inevitably happen in a project this size. Paul Ragan's vast experience and ingenuity were obvious throughout the project. We higly recommend Ragan Construction Company!

never happened. Paul Ragan came to the house and spent a lot of time discussing the scope of work. Said he would email a bid to me. Called 1 week later and told me on the phone it would be $32,000. I told him that was more than we wanted to spend, and could we discuss eliminating some items to lower the cost. He said he'd send me the written bid, so I could go over it in writing. He called a few hours later and said his computer was down, and he'd get the bid to me shortly. That was 10 days ago. I never heard from him, did not receive the itemized bid, did not receive an email or phone call.

Our remodel went absolutely wonderful! Ragan Construction kept things tidy as they moved along, from taking out the kitchen cabinets to tearing out the paneling. They threw out the old and even used the shop vac to keep the dust down, this was so important with my husband and I's allergies. They worked very hard even with changing out the paneling for sheet rock. They are prompt on inspecting cabinets delivered from the local home improvementstore, in case there was damage we could get replacement sooner than later. The only bad thing was that the home improvement store couldn't get our granite in, as they were behind, but no worries, Mr. Ragan put in a temporary wooden countertop, so we could use our kitchen while we waited on the granite. This is my second time using them and I would definitely use them again and again. The cost includes labor only, as we bought the supplies.

The Honeybee House?was only one project in a long list of renovations and improvements that Paul Ragan has done for me with consistently positive?results.??We have had?long professional?relationship since 2008. ?I have exclusively used Paul?after consulting with other contractors because of his friendly manner, ease in communicating ideas,?quality of work and price.?The construction and renovation?work he has completed?includes replacing windows, powerwashing,?painting, removing shutters, rebuilding two decks, remodeling a bathroom with new tile on the?floor and walls, and?creating?a in-law apartment in my basement that was handicapped accessible.??The most dramatic of his renovations was?my kitchen/living room remodel that required taking down a wall,?replacing the expansive ceiling, installing new?kitchen cabinets and tile floor. ?All of the above work was done by Paul with high regard for my ideas and?needs.
