They did a beautiful job with my hemlock. All the hemlocks here are being killed by woolly adelgid. My tree is fine now. It had a mild to moderate infestation. Over a 2 year period they treated it and it has fully recovered. They are very methodical. They are really reasonable. This is only one hemlock but it is a very huge hemlock. It is on a focal point of my property. It's probably at least 90 yeas old and very large so I don't want to lose it. It is a family owned business. He and his son are credentialed arborists. When they were out there they would look at other trees while they were there without charging me for it.

They were fantastic. They had the lowest estimate and came in and out mostly in one day. You couldn't even tell they were here.

Took a couple of weeks to schedule, ( I asked for service right in the middle of hemlock adelgid spraying season) but when he got here, his son Ben spent two days trimming, removed a couple winter damaged trees, and then chipped all this debris into mulch for my garden. Great job, very happy with their service, information and work ethic. Even the slight delay worked as I noticed one tree not leafing out, we determined it had died and had it removed, saving me another call. Highly recommend them!
Description of Work: Contacted Bob to arrange for tree evaluation and trimming, and also asked him if they could chip a large mass of branches and yard waste as a friend who recommended him said they had done a wonderful job cleaning up the rose garden at the local Red Cross building. He came by and reviewed all the trees on our property, gave advice and reviewed care of them. (He won't tell you this, but Bob is also a Buncombe County Master Gardener). We agreed on the scope of work and he told me they work by the hour ($20) plus the rental cost of the large chipper. He estimated the numbers of hours it would take and said he's be in touch to schedule the work.
