King & Queen of Clean

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. I would like to see them being a little more professional, they were late in showing up, and they had to wait for somebody else, and they got somebody else in so it wasn't as professional as I would like to see them. I don't think I would use them again.

When I bought the service, I called and emailed several times with no response. When we finally got in touch, they set an appointment for last Saturday. They never showed up for this appointment and haven't gotten back to me about why. At this point, I don't want to work with them.

The lady was very nice and she came by with this tiny little trailer thing and she took stuff out. And that's absolutely bad for her because she doesn't really make any money off the pick up so it ends up giving her some extra money on the side because she cannot make anything off the deal that I did get through her. So I think I gave her like $30 or $40 extra but I wouldn't use her again. It took her about a week to get here because at first her truck broke down. Then there were some problems and it was just an interesting experience.

They were very willing but they have too small of a truck and trailer for this kind of work. They also charged us an additional disposal fee that was not in the original quote.

It went great! It would have taken me all day to get done what they did in about 2 hours. My garage wasn't horrible, but they did straighten all the toys and bicycles. My main focus was getting the walls, windows, and garage doors cleaned. They did a wonderful job.

Picked up some construction debris from our yard. The person was about an hour late and only one person came. If it had been me at the house I wouldn't have been able to help load the items in the truck - it was heavy. Luckily, my husband was there and helped get the old wood and plywood in the truck.

I have used this provider several times, always with satisfaction. This time Audrey & her helper hauled away several pounds of concrete blocks we no longer needed. She never complains about what needs to be taken away & is always friendly with me.

Took several phone calls and e-mails to get an appointment scheduled. The provider scheduled an appointment on a rainy day (outdoor job) and then did not keep the appointment. No one contacted me for 2 days afterwards. I sent e-mail asking what happened. The answer was the appointment was not kept because of rain and will be rescheduled but no re-schedule date was provided. After 2 days and no follow up I asked for the re-scheduled date. I was told it would be Dec 14. I pointed out that rain was in the forecast again for Dec 14 but the appointment was not changed. When Dec 14 arrived no one showed up because of rain. Still have not heard back from them. Through the whole process not a word of apology. Wasted over a month and work still not done. It's worth pointing out that there were plenty of dry sunny days during that time.

They were booked several weeks in advance. I was disappointed that I got this "Big Deal" in my email if they weren't really available in a time frame that I needed them.

They cancelled at least once or twice this summer and then cancelled right before Thanksgiving and then again this morning. This is not acceptable. I really was counting on the pre-Thanksiving and pre-Christmas cleaning and then and now, I am forced to do my own cleaning during very busy times.

I bought the Angie's List big deal for this service, and selected multiple days that would work in my time-frame. Part of the Big Deal is that the company is supposed to contact you within 48 hours...which never happened. When I did contact them, they were a little short, they almost sounded rushed. After a little discussion, I got a tentative date scheduled in my time-frame (I was moving, and needed the service done before I left). Basically, the person suggested that if another patron cancelled, I could have their time slot, and that she would call me if that worked out. I never got a call, but she still showed up on the date that we agreed on, and went right to work. Although the deal was for 4 hours of work, she was done well within 3. She worked very hard, and was extremely helpful the entire time. I can't recommend the service enough...getting it scheduled is another story.

This vendor put me off nearly a month before the first appointment. About an hour before the people were due to arrive, I received a call saying that they would not be coming due to a personal problem with an employee. I wondered at that time why the incapacity of one employee would close down a whole company. I was told that the lady would call me the next day to reschedule an appointment. She did not call, so late in the day I called and left her a message to call me (that was on a Thursday). She did not return my call. I re-called, left a message, and contacted Angie's List about the problem of the call not being returned on Monday. The lady called late in the day on Monday and tried to reschedule with me for two weeks later, which was completely unacceptable. It would have been six weeks since I had made that deal before the work would have been done. My yard is covered with brush piles, which we did not want there during Christmas. The lady would not sway on the date. I told her at that time that we could not do business and that I wanted a refund. She told me to call Angie's List; she could do nothing about that. Here are the facts. This company is over-extended. If there is a lot of work, they cannot take care of it in a reasonable time. The ad sent out by Angie's List said nothing about an extra charge for yard waste. Yet when I called to make the appointment, I was told that there would be a $16.25 extra charge for yard waste. That is reasonable, but the ad should have said that. If I missed it in the ad, there is no problem. But I do not think it was there. Overall, this has been a very bad experience. No one in business should try to get their customers involved in their personal problems, and no company should operate without backup for unforeseen circumstances that invariable arise.

I bought a Big Deal for junk removal. I called and scheduled the pickup. The provider did not show or call on the scheduled day. I left a message which was returned early the next morning. I missed the call, but called back quickly, leaving another message. After not hearing back for several days I requested a refund from Angie's List.

After confirming the appointment time via phone, they showed up on time and were very easy to work with. They filled the back of their truck with the items we had stacked in the garage and were in/out in less than 20 minutes. A good value for the $59 deal price and I would gladly call them again if needed.

I am currently having another job completed with a professional organizer at my home and she offered to assist me with this need so I no longer need this Big Deal. I have spoken with Audrey and she is a very nice woman.

Service was not performed.

Cleaned out garage and hauled away a lot of junk. They were a little late and communication is a bit lacking because of there successful business. The wife was ill not felling well that day, it happens people get sick. This was my opinion. Overall a B rating.

She got to my house on time (even a little early). She did a great job cleaning and organizing my basement. I am very happy with the results.

They didn't have the correct address and set us back 45 minutes. I thought they would have a truck or something to contain the items. They had a small trailer and I wondered about the safety. It was satisfactory.

They actually were very good. They were efficient and pleasant. There was nothing that I disliked about them. The work they did was good. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. There was a little bit of mis-communication between us.

This was an Angie's List Big Deal advertised service. Services were as advertised and landfill fees were included in the overall price. A woman showed up alone to do the job but she was perfectly capable of moving the items (sofa, portable dishwasher, old large grill) and didn't ask for help. She was nice and helpful and wasted no time. I would recommend them to anyone.

On 11/10 /2013, I scheduled a junk removal. The earliest they could schedule was 12/7/2013, so we took that date. I called on 12/6 to confirm they would be coming out on the 7th & they said yes (no mention of a possible cancelation due to weather). At 9:30 am on the 7th, King & Queens of Cleaning called to reschedule due to rain for a 3 pm appointment time. She said she works 7 days a week & can't risk getting sick. I explained I have a timeline & I need this stuff taken away. I told her, I would load the truck!! She said I could reschedule for the 17th or get my money back. I was very disappointed due to it was barely raining. By 11:00 the rain had stopped completely, so I called at noon & left a voice mail, because they did not pickup my call, if they would please stick with the 3 pm appointment time if it was not raining. No return call & it was 47 degrees & not raining at 3 pm. I've now wasted time & I need this stuff removed by 12/12. On to plan B...

2 people arrived promptly and began to clean out and organize my garage. They were very thorough and hauled away what I didn't want/need. It turned out to be a small job, but it was well worth it!

It went great. They actually cleaned the garage and put stuff back. They did it all in about 2 hours. It was very good service. She was very punctual; she is amazing and did a wonderful job. I do not think that our garage has been that clean since we moved in. we actually got the work done in less time than we had anticipated. The price was very good.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was very good. We were very pleased and they were very prompt. Although they were running a little late they called ahead to let us know they were running about five minutes late. They were very courteous, efficient, quick and did what we wanted done. The service was done about a week after I purchased the deal. They called us, set a time and then came out. It was not as easy to get hold of them as I thought.
