The inspector spent like 30-40 mins to check the house and talked to us, which cost 1.5 h ish. He just glanced at the roof and even forgot the garage door. He did not know we have termite test. We did not see he did termite test but report says there is no termite. We are not confident about the inspection report, even though it says no big issues.

Austin and Billie Jo were a pleasure to work with. Austin was thorough, super knowledgeable, and explained everything in a way that made sense, and Billie Jo was super patient dealing with a busy builder's schedule. Highly recommend.

Detailed report that I could understand.

David and his apprentice were very efficient, punctual, and friendly. I think they did a great job not only producing the expected report, but walking through the issues they found in person. I had some scheduling issues that were completely my builders fault, and David Jones had no problem rescheduling and did so without fuss. My wife and I are first time home buyers, and David took the time to explain the process more in depth with our final walkthrough and closing just around the corner. I truly feel like David is on our side, even years down the road if issues arise! I did a few quotes with different inspectors, and while David Jones wasnâ t the absolute cheapest, his various positive reviews justified the relatively small price difference. Overall I would recommend David Jones to anyone looking for a reputable inspector local to the Raleigh area!

We were so impressed when our realtor recommended David for our new home inspection that we reached out to do a one year warranty inspection also. Weâ  ve been recommending him to our friends and neighbors ever since we first worked with David and his team.

David was professional and through. He was also respectful of the fact that he was inspecting the home of my elderly mother and spoke to her directly about what issues we would be facing if and when we needed to sell her him. His years of experience showed when he recognized his handiwork in my mom's bathroom as he did the work himself for her when she purchased the house 13 years ago and she remembered him as being a professional at that time also.

David was very thorough and diligent in his inspection. He's very knowledgeable and easy to understand when he explains things to you. I appreciated the detailed report which included pictures directly next to findings as opposed to an appendix of photos at the end of a report. He is also willing to explain anything you do not understand or answer any questions you may have, and is a wealth of knowledge on any question about the home, his findings or experiences that I had. Would definitely recommend David to anyone needing a home inspection!
