Tim was a total professional. He clearly knows and loves pianos and piano tuning. It was very easy to have him in my home. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. I wouldn't use anyone else and have already scheduled my tuning with Tim for next year. Highly recommend!

Tim was very polite, pleasant and completely professional. The whole process was made easier due to being surprisingly high tech: online scheduling, email reminders, cell phone credit card payment, and personalized online summary reports. And, of course, the piano sounds better than it has in years. We also talked about some recommendations for future service. I appreciated both the clear explanations and the fact that it was presented without any pressure. I'll definitely use this company again.

We contracted with Angie's List for this work back in November or December. We were in no hurry and let Barnes know that we didn't have a dead-line. They appreciated that since everyone was trying to get their pianos tuned before Christmas. We were given a February date, they kept in touch so we knew we were not forgotten, and Tim showed up right on time. It was very nice to deal with a contractor who didn't promise what they couldn't do, who kept their promise, and did a wonderful job. In addition, Tim Barnes was professional and personable.

Timothy is very thorough, he did not sit down and rush through the tuning. He patiently tuned every key as well as completely raising the pitch to where each string needed to properly be. He was professional yet easily explained the process of tuning my piano which had not been tuned in years. Timothy genuinely cares about the customer as well as their piano creating the best sound possible. An added bonus, you will get to hear his beautiful playing as he tunes your piano. Barnes Piano can be trusted to do a great job.

Tim is charming. He's unassuming, professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant. It is always a pleasure to have Tim come out and work on my piano. I used an Angie's List deal for the tuning, which was reasonable. I am so pleased that Barnes offers this through Angie's List. It makes other services provided, from a pricing standpoint, not so painful. While my piano needed a good cleaning, the $175 price, in my opinion was too high. For the time it took to clean and the means of cleaning, this is a very expensive service. I was able to piggy-back the tuning and cleaning into one appointment, which saved Tim the travel time. Again, I got a fair Angie's List price on tuning but would have liked a price break on the cleaning - that is expensive. Tim and staff at Barnes/Pascali are wonderful. They are not pushy with recommendations, but smart and correct in the information/suggestions they make. The office girls are always polite and pleasant. I am thankful to have found Barnes/Pascali and will continue to use their services in the future.

We had a fantastic experience. Tim gave my husband all sorts of information about our very old piano, and took his time cleaning and tuning it. It sounds fantastic now. He also left us with an itemized list of changes we can make to get the piano back into pristine condition. We were very pleased with the service we received.

I purchased a $99 Big Deal for a piano tuning but was not able to have my piano tuned for that amount of money. My piano is fairly new and assessments by all previous tuners agree it is in very good shape. He was very professional, but I think the $99 for tuning will not turn out to be true for most people. To be fair, their website clearly spells out the conditions for what they believe may require a more intensive type of tuning, and I think almost all pianos somehow will fall into this category. So, while I think the tuning was fine, I felt that the deal was somewhat of a misrepresentation.

He was very responsive and prompt. Arrived on time and contacted me 30 minutes before to let me know he was on his way. He took his time explaining the in' and out's of the piano and what work needed to be done. He offered great advice and explained everything. He promised to send on additional information which he did promptly.

It was a standard pitch adjustment and tuning for our piano. I was impressed with our technician Tim, in that he asked several detailed questions regarding use of the piano to best determine future maintenance needs. He also took time to explain what he was doing and why. I purchased the service through Angie's list but did not use it for almost two months. The company sent periodic email reminders of my future appointment which were helpful to me. Tim was very professional and I would recommend using the company. I would not hesitate to use them again myself.

Tim is very professional, knowledgeable and honest. After evaluating the piano he explained in detail everything that was in need of repair. He also sent a condition report to my e mail with 3 levels of repair. His recommendation was that we not invest in any of the levels of repair for the piano. I appreciate his honesty because the piano had sentimental value and we may have invested a lot of money into a piano that would never meet the level of play we were looking for.

Mr. Barnes was very nice, professional and thorough. This was the first time I've used his services. It was a very long visit - almost three hours. I have a baby grand Yamaha that I take good care of - 18 yrs old - and I've never been charged for a pitch adjustment before. I'm happy with the tuning (I am a musician). I have to trust that it needed the pitch adjustment. I'm new to this area and got the special $99 (but was charged additional $65 for pitch adjustment). I would never pay the normal $230. I lived in the Northeast previously in an area with a much higher cost of living - and I had an excellent piano tuner there who charged $120 and it rarely took more than an hour. I'm not quite sure what to think about the charges and am not sure whether I will use him in the future because of the cost. The actual tuning was fine.

I had a very good expeience with this provider and would recommend him to my friends. Although it seems that the first time wasn't so efficient and he had to come back, you must understand that the piano is still adjusting to the room and temperatures. The provider replies in no time and offers you open appointments, he called when he was in our area and came a day earlier, because it also fit our schedule. I would highly recommend Mr. Tim and Barnes Piano LLC to anyone.

I was very pleased with the work. The service provider was professional, going over the overall condition of our piano, explaining what needed to be done (ie. tuning, pitch adjustment, etc) and approximately how long it would take, and providing a quote. I was given a chance to ask questions, and work began only after all my questions were answered and I agreed to the could st of service. I will definitely use their services again. Thank you.

Everything was smooth and professional. He evaluated everything and gave me the three possible levels of required work. After a short Q&A he suggest the basic tier of work, because no one in my household is a concert pianist. The whole thing took about 2.5 hours and now the piano is as good as she ever was.
