They were excellent and worked hard. They got it done in the two days they said it would take. They answered my husband's questions as they went along. Everything was cleaned up when they left. For the work they did, I would say the price was right on target. They did a very neat job and looks nice. They were very responsive and attentive. I would use them again if necessary.
Description of Work: They installed a sump pump, 64 feet of a water guard system, and a waterproof panel system with all electrical requirements.

Service was excellent. This is the second house that dry pro has waterproofed for me. I am completely satisfied. Clean-up was very well done. The crew was very professional. Many thanks to Adam, Raul, Diego, Jean and Anthony. I recommend the dry pro system and the dry pro people to anyone who wants the job done right the first time.
Description of Work: The Dry Pro crew arrived on time on March 5 and finished a day early, on March 6. They cleaned out the rough spots on the dirt floor, and put in a gravity drainage system including pipe and gravel. They installed the drainage matting and put down the liner system, covering all the piers. They sealed the crawlspace vents and put in the dehumidifier. The electrician ran the new wiring (for the dehumidifier) from the garage box across the garage ceiling, down the wall and into the basement.

It went well. I was not t home when the inspection was done, but the technician followed up with a phone call and gave me a detailed description of his finding and the service he performed.
Description of Work: This call was for routine maintenance which consisted of an overall checkup and a filter replacement. The technical was punctual, efficent, and highly professional. Drypro installed the system two years ago and it has been effective and trouble free, My crawl spaces has stayed dry and there has been no mold. Their maintenance fee was very reasonable and I will continue to call them on an annual basis.

Charles who was the service tech was extremely knowledgable and professional and performed the servicing required on the system including removing and reinstalling the new check valve. The system was functioning properly and Charles reviewed the repairs and checks he made to the system and also provided me a written report of the servicing. Overall Charles and Dry-Pro exceeded my expectations, both from a servicing and cost/value perspective. I would recommend them to anyone with similar needs or water related issues in a crawl space or basement environment.
Description of Work: I had a backup sump pump with battery backup installed in 2008 by Dry-Pro. The system although it seldom needed to operate, I contacted Dry-Pro to ask when the batteries should be evaluated since no maintenance had been performed on the system since 2008. Within 2 days after contacting Dry-Pro, a technician was sent to my home to evaluate the sump pump system and perform any routine maintenance. The preventive maintenance was performed as well as replacing a check valve with a newer model valve.

Mr. Keeter said it was not serious and recommended a few procedures we could do ourselves to remedy the problem. We asked him to bill us for his trip and time, but he refused. I've got his card, and if we ever have another related problem, he's the first one I'll call.

DryPro has always come as scheduled and performed their work in a timely manner and left the site clean. Their estimates are fair and the final statement is at or below estimate.
Description of Work: During the last rainy period, my sump pump worked overtime and rattled and bumped continuously. Charles from DryPro came yesterday as scheduled and gave the pump a thorough checkup and added additional supports to further stabilize the pump. This is not my first experience with DryPro nor will it be my last. In 2008, I had DryPro install the pump beause my house sits on a mound of bull tallow which does not absorb water. The pump did its job, but because of an uneven surface I found I had water standing under parts of my house. DryPro to the rescue installed French drains, took out excessive soil and covered the ground with thick plastic. No more problems and no fear of mold forming.

This is the best thing I have ever done for my house! Our next home will have this same crawl space work done. We built our home in 2001. We had problems with water under the house in the crawl space when it rained more than one inch in a day. We tried all kinds of solutions: French drains, new gutters, landscaping alternatives none of which worked. We spent hundred and hundreds of dollars and nothing worked. We called Dry Pro they sent a rep out, he spoke to us about what their company could do and how much it would cost.He was right on EVERYTHING!IT HAS SOLVED OUR WATER PROBLEM> Anyone that is going to build a house must contact Dry Pro to discuss options for keeping your crawlspace clean and free from water. We loved working with this company. They were professional and took us step by step what we could expect.I strongly recommend this group!
Description of Work: Put in french drains (on the inside of the crawl space) which required digging a trench all around the foundation of our home, removing the excess dirt and any debris (small concrete bits, rocks, etc), placing drains in the trench that deliver water to a sump pump that pumps the water to the outside. They fine tooth combed our foundation for any damage - sealed any areas Sealed our crawl space with heavy duty plastic put in a dehumidifier put in a sump pump

After deciding to convert our crawl space to unvented, I contacted Dry Pro for an appointment to discuss my options. Mike Massenrang responded promptly and we met. He was very knowledgeable and we had a good discussion about my options and what would work best to accomplish my goals. My main goal was to lower the humidity in the crawl space to the point that it would not support mold growth. Mike and I settled on a mid-priced option that we would try with the option of adding a dehumidifier later if necessary. I wanted a quality job to go with the work I had already done and they delivered. The installation crew headed by Ed exceeded my expectations. I understand how hard this work is. We have lived in this house 18 years and I had wanted to upgrade the crawl space for a long time. They were prompt. The quality and quantity of their work was superior. They took pride in their work. And they finished on time. No mess. Complete cleanup. The transformation of my crawl space is amazing. My humidity readings are below what I had hoped for and I expect them to stay that way. Based on the quality of the work done, I am glad I chose Dry Pro. I had contacted 2 other companies. One never showed up. The other one was slightly less expensive, but after discussing my expectations with them, I felt Dry Pro was the better value. I got what I wanted at a fair price.

Love these guys! They could have sold me a bigger job but gave me just what I needed. Showed-up on time, worked continuously and cleaned before they left.
Description of Work: During the hard rains, out basement got some water in about 20% of it through a basement wall ruining a section of our carpet. After removing the baseboard, we could tell the prior home owner had to have had the same problem. I really could not live with this situation and I was ready to do whatever it took. The DryPro representative came out and said that the problem could probably be a pretty simple fix. It seems the gutters dumped down up against the steps and he noticed the water pooled there. He recommended some landscaping and putting a line from the gutters underground to the corner of our house. I really wanted the problem fixed and did not see how this would be good enough - thinking we needed to dig up the ground on the side of the house and put some drain system in. After his guarantees to apply what we were paying him to the bigger job if it did not work, I reluctantly agreed to the job. They deliverd dirt to our house and sent three guys out to do the work. To me it looked like a hard job with all the roots and having to go under the sidewalk. They did the job and finished with putting seed and straw down. Well, we have had a lot harder rains since then and no issues with any water. I even left the baseboard off for a couple of months and checked it every time it rained. They could have easily sold me a lot bigger job but they gave me what I actually needed. You really do not see that a lot now days so I cannot recommend them enough.

Though I had wondered if it was worth $115.00 just to change the dehumifier filter and change batteries in the monitor, I feel I got my money's worth by having a knowlegeable professional do this while checking out the dehumidifier and condition of my crawlspace.
Description of Work: Annual maintenance inspection. Service technician changed batteries in moisture monitor, changed filter in dehumidifier, shortened hose on draining hose out of dehumidifier to help it drain better, answered lots of questions, and checked out general condition of crawlspace.

We have been completely happy with the work over the past three years. We have had no issues with any of the work installed. The basic maintenance call went very well. The service technician, Mr. Crews, was competent, professional, and courteous. He was knowledgeable about his work and we are please with his workmanship. The overall experience for us was a 5 star rating.
Description of Work: We purchased our home three years ago, and prior to to the purchase the previous owner had DryPro professionally manage any damage in our walk-in crawl space, which is approximately 1,700 square feet. We placed a service call to Dry Pro for maintenance on the humidifiers under the home. The technician was fabulous and we really were please with the professionalism he provided. The company was well represented by their employee.

I had a sealed crawl space from a few years back, but at the time the company that installed it offered no dehumidification. My inexpensive dehumidifier from Lowes died and so I wanted to invest in a high quality dehumidifier that really worked. Humidity was running at 55% to 70%. I called Scott at Dry Pro to order the Sani Dry CSB unit. They were back ordered and my vacation conflicted with the delivery date, so Scott came by on a Saturday and gave me a loaner unit to use until I returned from vacation. Dani came on the scheduled date to install. He was very thorough and detailed. Installed and cleaned up well. I called a day later with questions on humidity levels and Kevin in service was very helpful. Humidity now running from 35% to 45% on the "extra dry" setting. Great job, Dry Pro!

Dry Pro did everything in a timely fashion, from estimate to execution. All their personnel were very professional, knowledgable and and great to work with. After they were done you could almost could not tell anyone had had been there! Within days of completion of this project we had a hugh storm, and it was very apparent that the drain they installed was doing just what it was intended to do. We are very pleased with the wok they did, and would not hesitate to use them again.

Great, exactly the way I wanted with work done to high standard.
Description of Work: This was my first visit after installation of my moisture control system and repair of damage. Added backup capabilities to my system to make it even more secure from water damage. What I added was not required but it was what the customer (me) wanted. Dry-Pro also at the same time replaced the filters and batteries for my system as part of annual maintenance. They do excellent work and I have not had a single moisture issue since they put my system in and fixed the damage, which I had, that was extensive. I feel very fortunate to have a company like that to turn to. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions, which were many. Excellent service call and company. There is no reason to have this type of work done and not at least talk with Dry-Pro for a discussion of your issues to see if they should do your work.

This was done in three phases: mold remediation and insulation removal, wood work repair, water proofing. The whole project was estimated to take about two weeks and they ended up finishing about two days early. AdvantaClean did the first part, and I will rate them separately. Dry=Pro first took care of all the wood structure repair, which went according to schedule. After that they came in and did all the waterproofing stuff. The price I paid came in exactly as quoted. While they were in my crawlspace doing the estimation, they accidentally detached a wire that set my burglar alarm off. I then decided it would be a good idea to leave it off while they did the work, which is a good thing because they took out a couple of additional wires during this install. ADT (alarm company) charged me $272 for the repairs, which Dry-Pro deducted from the bill. I also had my usual electrician (Bobby with David Long Electrical - HIGHLY recommend) come in and wire the dehumidifier and sump pump in. Dry-Pro has an electrician they use that charges $350, which is about the same that David Long charged. All in all, I have to have one of the best looking, driest crawlspaces in all of Charlotte. Was it worth $12,300? I don't know as I didn't send it out for bid. I will say that if we had another summer like last summer, though, I was at risk of going from a very minor mold problem to something much more serious and expensive. That's off the table now, which is definitely worth something.
Description of Work: I've had a problem with a damp crawlspace for some time, which has led to a lot of other issues. It's also flooded a couple of times during hard rains, damaging my air handling unit that's under the house. Dry-Pro repaired a lot of foundation issues in my crawlspace, mostly related to replacing wooden structures that were either installed wrong (or not within code) in the first place, or had become somewhat rotten. I also had them go ahead and fully encapsulate my crawlspace with a vapor floor barrier, install a dehumidifier, install a sump-pump, dig a trench drain, and put spray foam from the point the vapor barrier ends and up to the floor along the crawl space walls. In other words, I got the works.

I had the job done in August 2010 (don't recall exact date). However, immediately after completion of the job I notified the company I was concerned about the outside appearance of my house, as the foundation vents they had to saw in half to close had pieces of plastic and wire hanging down from them. I was also concerned I had seen black trash bags used behind the vents in closing them, as I knew trash bags were generally biodegradable and would not last long. The first company representative sent out agreed the vents were unslightly and said they would be replaced. Another representative came out after the dehumidifier took a long time to start draining water, and he corrected a problem with a drain line that had been installed stapled shut and said the vents should have been closed with a higher mil plastic and not the black trash bags I saw the installers use. He said someone would come out and redo closing the vents with the correct materials. After this was done, I still found several vents that had never been closed at all. The company came out a few more times and when I walked around the house for a final inspection, I found a vent that had been closed only with black plastic with no styrofoam insulation installed behind it. This was corrected on the spot and a month after the job was originally done, it was finally completed satisfactorily. Thus the negative aspects of dealing with Dry Pro was having to repeatedly inspect the work being done myself. I had to take off work several times to meet with supervisors at the house and twice they never showed up (once they left a message they could not make it on my home phone that I did not get until I got home; another time I was told they had decided to come earlier in day and no one called me). However, the bottom line, which is good, is that I got the type of moisture control I was looking for. Along the way I was assured by everyone at Dry-Pro that they were customer service oriented and that the job would be completed to my satisfaction, which it eventually was. I was told the problems with my job were brought to the attention of the owner, Ron Weatherly, and were being dealt with. I am putting my most weight on the positive fact that I have gotten the moisture control I needed.
Description of Work: Dealing with Dry-Pro was a real mixed experience that can best be explained by a long narrative. Dealing with them had both good and bad aspects. I initially met with Michael Masserang for inspection of my crawl space, recommendations and estimate. I was concerned I would be quoted a standard package that included more than I wanted/needed but was very pleased that my preferences (did not want encapsulation of crawl space) were listened to and a "hybrid" proprosal was made that included closing off vents, covering only dirt crawl space floor with their Clean Space Light product, and installing a dehumidifier. He was thorough in explaining the proprosal and answering questions. After getting more quotes from other sources and educating myself about different moisture control systems and options, I decided Dry-Pro could best help with the moisture in my crawlspace.

I still haven't done anything on that. They were a little high pricewise. I was there when they came to do the estimate. They walked through the house and examined the floors. They were very thorough. They were very professional. They handed out a packet explaining all the problems that you could have and why. It was really very good. I haven't done any other estimates so I can't compare to their price as yet. I would possibly use them in the future if the estimate turns out alright.
Description of Work: I got an estimate for basement waterproofing for my mother's house from Dry-Pro Basement Systems.
