Dry Pro Foundation and Crawlspace Specialists

Called for the "Free Quote" mentioned on all advertsing - they said it would be $150 for a person to come give me a quote. When i mentioned it says "Free Inspection and Estimate" on their website, the answer was "That's a take what you can get appointment system. It will be 2 weeks for someone to get to you. Alos, we're scheduling work 6 weeks form now"... That's not much help when there's water in the basement

All of the people who came to both clean and repair the crawl space were on time, professional and polite.

We are now trying to decide what to do better stabilize the home.

Had a bad problem with standing water in crawl space. Had encapsulated. They did not thoroughly explain the necesssity of a sump pump and we had to add that a few years later after flooding in the space. They were quick to get this done. Had some remodeling done and they came before the construction began to remove some areas of covering and returned after to repair the area. Very nice office people and easy to schedule work.

We have had crawlspace and drainage issues for a decade and finally got in a position to do something about it. Our structural engineer, plumber and HVAC guy all referred us to Dry Pros. After consulting with an engineer so we would be armed with good information we got our three estimates. One company tried to sell us additional insulation for under the floor- but our engineer had told us that unless we were in a very cold climate it wasn't needed; with the sealed crawlspace the duct leakage would be enough to hold the temp steady in the crawlspace. Our other estimate sent a guy who either didn't notice the already installed french drain around the entire interior perimeter of our foundation, or else thought we wouldn't know we had one because they tried to sell us on that service as well. Only Dry Pros told us with full honestly that we did not need insulation and that the french drain was done well and functional. The mold remediation was not a surprise, I had been down and seen it all. Dry Pros used a subcontractor which we found out was a sister company and after our structural people replaced some rotten wood they had the entire space treated for mold and mildew in two days. Then the Dry Pros crew came in for another two days. If I told what they accomplished in those two days- You wouldn't believe me unless you had seen it yourself. They took out all the crap left over from 30 years of previous people being down there, neatly hung all electrical wires, calling in a contractor for certain bits of it- and also hung all the ductwork neatly (apparently wild animals had gotten in and done damage as well) and put down a 20 mil plastic product specifically designed for the purpose of sealing off your crawlspace. A new premium sump pump with alarm was installed. Then they dug in a sump leech pit in the yard- did such a good job of it my wife couldn't even complain about her yard being dug up! lol Finally a purpose built dehumidifier was installed and set up. I was given a tour and instructions. Everything they said would happen did. Our home is greatly more temperature stable, and my God it smells better! We had been living with all that mold and musty air for so long that we had no idea how bad it was until it got fixed. It is also 10% less humid in our home now as well, making it much more comfortable for us. We are thrilled with the results. Exactly as promised. I want to specifically say that EVERYONE in all crews we had out were clearly very solid people. I have some background in personal protection service, my red flag goes up very quickly and none of these guys made me the slightest bit nervous being in and around our home. This is hard, dirty and often thankless work, these guys made it look like no big deal and were clearly very intelligent and friendly. I got the impression that these guys would all be business owners themselves one day. I am in the customer service business myself and I can say Dry Pros are a class act. You know you are dealing with some good folks when literally every other contractor for other services that has done work for us recommended them. I give them not only an A+, but I invited my two nearest neighbors of 18 years who are also dealing with the same problems we had in to see my crawlspace, and now they are having Dry Pros work on their houses too. You just better take off your shoes first before going down there... with the two dogs we have it's literally cleaner underneath my house now than it is in it.

Michael, the consultant, was very professional and he explained the things very well that nobody did before. For example, he pointed out the reasons why some of the inside doors get occasionally jammed. The installation team was punctual, polite and very professional. The crew captain explained everything in advance. They worked very hard as well. Having foundation issues is very nerveracking. But having Dry-Pro has made it a little easier to deal with. Overall, very positive experience.

After the initial estimate we made our decision and set up a date with them. They made all the necessary arrangements to make sure we had everything in writing and the contract was signed. The deposit was paid and the date was officially set. They showed up that morning and did their job and the next phase was the remediation process.

Three tecnicians for two days completed the work ahead of schedule, worked in the summer heat without delay, worked efficiently and on schedule. The men respected us and our property. Would not hesitate in hiring the company again. The President, Ron Wealtherly, came to our property before the work began to discuss the details of the job and answered our questions. The guys came out and removed all of the old insulation, killed and removed the mold, replaced the insulation, sealed the crawlspace, replaced the vapor barrier with a thicker and 100% coverage vapor barrier, installed dehumidifier. Went great they did have to come back and install a fresh air source for the gas furnace in the crawlspace.

They were very professional. They came when they said they would come. They worked quietly and cleanly. There was a funny odor in the house, maybe because of the moisture. That is out now.

They told me I did not need them. I had some water in their basement and they said their solution was overkill. I like their honesty; they did not try to dupe me into something I did not need.

Dry-Pro technician arrived punctually, listened to my problem which was leakage through basement wall after very heavy rain and did a thorough inspection inside and outside. His advice was to do nothing at this time as it was a one time event after an unusually heavy rainfall and he did not see damage to indicate a bigger problem. He did say if it happened again or any other leaking to call back and he would probably advise a trench leading to a sump pump. So far no more leaking. I have peace of mind and would use the same company if I have further water leaks. He was very professional and honest in his assessment and gave me an idea of the scope of the remedy if it did become necessary.

They were great. The people were fantastic. They went above and beyond any expectations when it comes to their work. I cannot say any bad thing about them.

I think they did a fine job on the installation of the equipment and on sealing the crawlspace. However, they are horrible on customer service and follow up, because I have been trying to get a hold of them for several weeks with several phone calls but they never called me back. A couple of times they said they would call me back but they never did. I submitted a complain through the Better Business Bureau and they have not responded to them either.

They did a fantastic job. Adan, Chinno and James H. showed on up on time and were very professional. They explained what they were going to do in detail and then proceeded to get the entire job done in about 6-7 hours. I inspected everything afterwards and it all was done exceptionally well with great attention to detail. I would highly recommend Dry-Pro to any of my friends or family.

I chose this company because they had a good reputation, I had actually looked them up on Angie's List and they were one of the companies I talked with and their pricing seemed to be reasonable. The product that they said worked, seemed to be a good one. They got good gradings on Angie's List. They met my expectations. I expected good performance and a nice job and that's what I got.

I had a very bad water issue in my crawl space. I contacted the Drypro team for an estimate and evaluation. The product and the examples given were excellent. I was given an estimate of $4000 to correct the water issue with drainage, and a complete crawl space enclosure. Now, my house does not smell like wet dirt due to the moisture. My crawl space is completely dry...and enclosed. It maintains a constant temperature, and I use it as extra storage. I had one issue, and they addressed it really quick with no question. I was very pleased with the service and they contact me once a year for inspection. The product is excellent, I have had only one issue that they correct immediately, and it was not even major issue. I have a very large crawl space, and I show their work off to anyone visiting our home because it is unusual to see such a product in the crawl space of a home. Anyway, it is one of the best investments that I have ever made and they provided a wonderful product and service.
