they were on time and cleaned everything up.
they explained all of the work done
the moisture barrier , the humidifier etc.
would recommend this company and how efficient they were.
now we wait to see how well everything works and if we notice a difference in our home
It looks great under the house nw.
Cory and Adam, who came out to do the installation, did a fantastic job. They were on time, courteous and professional. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. I cannot say enough about how much we appreciated the job well done. We now have a crawlspace that I will actually go in as the threat of critters (i.e. snakes) has been eliminated. It is also great that the area is now sealed, more energy efficient and we don't have to worry about mold.
The only real issue we had was that the billing was not well coordinated and clearly the various parts of the company failed to talk to each other about our payment arrangement. In the end, it all worked out but it was an unnecessary headache at the last minute.
I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.
Our experience with Dry Pro was great, from start to finish. Matt came out, within a few days of us contacting Dry Pro, to give us a consult and estimate. He was friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable. He explained everything in an easy-to-understand way, using photos that he took while under the house inspecting the crawl space. He also explained in detail what it would take to fix the problem and how much it would cost.
I honestly thought it was going to be a much larger expense, but Matt assured me that he doesn't recommend anything that's not necessary. So I felt that we were treated honestly and not taken advantage of. Matt was awesome!
About 2 weeks later a crew came to do the work, and it took about half a day. They were all polite and got right to work. It was so hot, but they worked right through it, dripping wet by the end of the day. They didn't leave behind any kind of a mess...everything was cleaned up as best they could. And the work was performed as expected. One of the guys spoke with me before they left and explained what they did and showed me pictures of everything.
It hasn't rained yet, so I don't know how well the fix will perform, but I'm confident that the job was done right.
The next problem we had was the house started settling again and the cracks that the jacks had fixed opened up. I also had a window above my door crack. A crew came out who basically did nothing and I had to call the calvary to come in. When Dave Smith came out we were informed that the jacks had settled and that one of the jacks was in the wrong place. Is that why my window cracked? can't prove it but I would say so. He fixed this himself. We were also informed that there were other problems and we would would need a lot more jacks and three helical piers to fix them. Dave seemed to know what he was talking about. He was the bright spot in our ordeal. He set everything up, but unfortunately he can not do everything and their customer service really stinks.
A crew finally came to the house and set things up to raise the house. They left leaving my yard a mess with trash and pieces of concrete and I didn't hear from Drypro and no one showed up on the day to finish the job. After having to send a mean email to Dave, he went ahead and got the ball rolling. A new crew was sent to do the piers and a new crew to finish the jacks. FINALLY some folks other than just Dave who knew what they were doing. The pier group consisted of Cory, Adam and Orlando. Great group of guys who explained everything to me and when they were done had the yard in better shape than it was when they started. The jack crew was made up of Micah and Ian. Another crew with knowledge of what they were doing.
Thanks David Smith, Cory, Adam, Orlando, Micah, and Ian for making a not so good experience turn out well. Now we just have to wait and see if our problems have been fixed.
The initial assessment and fee quote was a good experience as well. They arrived and spent a lot of time in the crawl space and showed detailed options and quotes as well as pictures of the issues. He was very responsive via email when we asked follow up questions. We compared them to three other highly rated Angie's list companies and they came out on top.
