There was a bit of confusion, and this may have been on my part, surrounding what was encompassed in the full encapsulation. Hopefully I won't need to address having the insulation put back in the walls when it gets cold. As said, that could totally have been a misunderstanding on my behalf, just make sure you have all questions answered prior to the crew showing up. With that said, I wanted to say thank you to Rich for his responsiveness and also Cory (Corey?) and his crew that performed the encapsulation. They called to let me know when they were heading out, the crew greeted me and told me what they would be performing and how long they expected to be there. They were all friendly and polite. I let them know they could use the restroom if they needed to or just yell if they needed a drink, but they informed me that they weren't allowed to go into customer's homes. I work from home so they were right under my feet all day so I got a few laughs in listening to them work - they sound like a good group that work well together. Hopefully they all get big bonuses because I don't know how people go under crawlspaces for a living. Have you seen a cave cricket? :) I was very impressed with the job that they completed and I appreciate them treating my home with care. Now on to clean air and no more creepy, smelly crawl space.
Description of Work: I worked with the sales rep, Rich Pace, to have AdvantaClean (their partner company which I will be writing a review for as well as they did a great job) come and do insulation and mold removal from the crawl space, and Dry-Pro did a full encapsulation with 10-mil vapor barrier.

Wonderfully! I am SO PLEASED with the work the crew did in repairing and stabilizing our chimney, which had pulled away from the house, causing large cracks beside the fireplace inside the house as well as a significant gap in the floor between the hearth and the floor. There are now NO cracks inside or out. Also we had notable issues with the main girder under the house which has now been fully repaired.

Jeff and Kelvin did an outstanding job of restoring the concrete slabs to alignment and filling the joints and cracks so that the result was almost as good as new, 12 years after original installation of the driveway. They went above and beyond to create a solution for an unanticipated challenge where the driveway concrete connected with tile and brick steps to the front door. They were able to realign/level the drooping brick and mortar step, while raising the tile to maintain alignment with the driveway--all done with minimal impact to the tile - quite a feat - and done with no additional charge.
Description of Work: Leveling of concrete driveway slabs that had become out of line at the joints due to uneven settling of soil underneath.

This is an unusual recommendation, as it is not based on work that was performed, but rather for work that was not done. There rep Paul Starr came out on time, and spent about an hour inspecting our crawl space. After his review he was very thorough and honest to explain that he did not see any serious issues that really needed immediate work. Instead he showed a couple of small areas that would probably most efficiently completed by a handyman. The only work he suggested, as an extra measure of protection, was that we might consider was placing a new liner on the floor and walls, but was not a realy hard sell which was appreciated. Based on this positive experience I would not hesitate to use this company or refer it to others.

All went well until they ran into unexpected foundation damage the house had fell several inches. I was immediately informed and Madison gave a detailed description of what happened and recommendation most cost effective ways how to fix it. We agreed and they went to work. Madison, James and the crew went to work and completed repairs way above expectation I was very impressed. They removed the old foundation and installed a complete new one. I knew the work was very difficult because I was under the several times myself doing other repairs over the years very tight crawl space. I was most impressed how professional and respectful everyone was after being under the house all day. Travis and crew completed the water proofing and it was just what I expected .They also explained about foundations and how to keep them maintained and prevent very costly repairs. As the job was done Rodney ensured I was completely satisfied. Job Well Done! I am looking forward to insulating the crawlspace with the silverGlo.

I was initially impressed by DryPro. Their quote was a little more expensive but they seems like a quality company and had good reviews. Our experience with them was HORRIBLE. To begin with, the salesperson told us to knock down a wall (taped out the area to be removed and drew a diagram in our contract) and we did that. The following day the work crew came to install the drains and informed me that their salesman told us the WRONG wall and we would need the adjoining wall knocked down. I requested that they repair the wall and they said they couldn't. Of course it rained that night and our basement flooded horribly. DryPro came out the next morning, saw all the water damage and apologized, cleaned what they could up and promised they would take care of all the damage. It continued to rain and their crew was "busy with previously booked jobs" and could not come back for WEEKS. This resulted in A LOT of water damage in our house, us having to rent professional water removal equipment, my husband not flying to florida for christmas with us since we could not leave the house and just a disaster. We ended up going with another company (MoistureLoc- they are wonderful) and in the end DryPro's owner REFUSED to pay for any of the damages. We sent a letter from an attorney and he also refused to do any repairs unless we signed a document saying we wouldn't sue them. THE OWNER IS HORRIBLE and UNETHICAL and i DO NOT RECOMMEND them for anything!

First, I admit I created some of my own difficulty with this company by not getting other estimates first and not carefully reading the contract.. I chose this company quickly by reputation and signed a contract for foundation repair (rotten sill boards) and liner installation. I then learned from friends that they thought the Dry pro quote was high and that I should check other bids. I did that and then asked Dry Pro to cancel my contract or put it on hold(this was approx a week after signing and three weeks before the job) and refund my deposit while I considered my options. I called as early as I could after getting other bids to give them time to reschedule. I was told ok by the office worker and that she would inform the team. I then get a phone call from the salesman a few days later wondering what was going on. I said I wanted more time to review bids but that I would still consider using them, just wanted to ease my concerns. He said that I could not cancel without leaving my deposit with them (approx $1200) since I was past the 3 day cancellation period and that commissions had been paid and materials ordered. Well this irriated me. The office said I could cancel and now I an informed otherwise by the salesman. Also I was concerned that their bid was high and that they might upsell just for commissions and this was a simple job with no materials needed unique to this job that they had to order.. I would also add I had quite a few unanswered or late email requests and phone calls as this stuation progressed. Now to their credit they offered to price match competitive bids for similar work but that was not easy to do since they had a different scope of work than other companies estimates. Also, to their credit their evaluation of my problem was very comprehensive and professional and I believe accurate. In talking to the supervisor who handled my situation they are very strict about protecting their revenue stream and therefore very strict with their contracts (I get that). But they had a breakdown in communication between their front office and the salesman/contract people that led to the hard feelings. I had my foundation repaired by another company and used Dry pro to install my liner since they kept my $1200 and would not return it, only credit it towards future work. That work was done well and on time. One final issue I found ironic is that they will charge interest on late payment of the work but do not pay interest on the deposit they withhold. My experience: Dry Pro does good work and is very comprehensive in their proposals. They are probably the highest bidder. ( at least they were for me) They are very strict with their contract terms. That's ok, it protects you and them. Do your homework and get other bids first. Read the contract carefully before signing but if you use them you can be confident the work will be done well. Despite my irritation with them, I will consider using them in the future even though I checked the "no" box. I will just do my homework first to make sure I am comfortable with their estimate.

According to them the work has been completely but it was extended 5 weeks later. Project managers were not going behind sub contractors work. They know the issues have not been resolved and sent me a new proposal with missing pages; I requested the missing pages and they have not given them to me. In addition I contacted them for a copy of our contract and they will not give it to me. I have asked the project manager to put a vent grill around the deck area that this has never been done. All of our communication has been difficult. They knew of the mold situation on Oct 27th and before that date never addressed the issue. We now have mold inside the house from them and they have not address the issue at all.
Description of Work: I hired them to correct moisture problems underneath the home and some structural issues in the foundation. It was supposed to be done Oct 09th.

We are extremely happy with the work done and the DryPro people who worked on our house. Josh is an excellent ambassador for the company. He kept me informed about the project and instills a sense of confidence for homeowners. John also went the extra mile to insure Advanta did their part correctly and answered my questions. At the end of the project Josh took me on a tour to see the encapsulation and the other work done. The crawl space is positively stunning to see and experience. The low humidity and comfortable temperature makes it tempting to move a TV and air bed in there for a real "man cave." Okay, just kidding but you get the picture. I'll be telling my neighbors and friends about the great job you did and recommending they call DryPro asap.

Christina made a positive impression from the start because she had studied our file before she arrived. With that knowledge she recommended an upgrade to our system which she explained very clearly how it would benefit us. In addition to performing the annual servicing and installing the new backup pump, she notified me of a leak in an unrelated system so I can have the appropriate serviceperson fix it before it worsens. She let me know how to reach her if I should have any questions. She's another reason why I don't hesitate to recommend DryPro!
Description of Work: Annual servicing of systems in encapulated crawlspace and installation of ultrasump backup.
Advantaclean Removed insulation, Scrubbed down the growth and cricket poop with microbial cleaners. The wood looks new now. DryPro dug and installed a french drain under the house, replaced all of the insulation and the vapor barrier. It looks great under the house nw.
Description of Work: Crawl space moisture remediation. Insulation replacement.
I interviewed several companies regarding doing the encapsulation. As our house was built in 1985, the foundation walls are fairly porous at this point. Lance was by far the most knowledgeable and the only company not suggesting tying into our existing HVAC units. Lance provided clear pricing information and detailed statements regarding the word to be done. Cory and Adam, who came out to do the installation, did a fantastic job. They were on time, courteous and professional. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. I cannot say enough about how much we appreciated the job well done. We now have a crawlspace that I will actually go in as the threat of critters (i.e. snakes) has been eliminated. It is also great that the area is now sealed, more energy efficient and we don't have to worry about mold. The only real issue we had was that the billing was not well coordinated and clearly the various parts of the company failed to talk to each other about our payment arrangement. In the end, it all worked out but it was an unnecessary headache at the last minute. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.
Description of Work: We had our entire crawlspace encapsulated. This included installing french drains around the interior of our foundation, removing all the old insulation, doing a complete mold remediation, laying new barrier on the floor and insulating the walls. New sump pump and dehumidifier were also installed.

It was a big job. They took out something that Terminix put in which was inadequate. They got to take that L out. They put in a terrain system on the foundation wall and the crawlspace all the way to the front because there was water coming under the foundation. They were the only one that we had come out and interviewed who had recommended to do this. In addition, they put in a dehumidifier. They were extremely professional. The only problem was the sub-contractor, Robbie Electric. The guy came out and looked at it, the electrical connection to the panel in the garage. He didn't show up again for three or four more days after that to make the connection from the panel to the dehumidifier. They did the work on Monday and this guy showed up on Thursday. We he did, he punctured out air conditioning line on the wall. On our upstairs air conditioner, all the freon leaked up. They picked that up. Dry-Pro took the initiative to get an AC company out here to fix it which they did.
Since our house was built, about 7 1/2 years ago, we've had water drainage problems every time we would get a heavy rain. Water would run off our driveway and into the window well area. We suspected there could be damage happening in our crawl space, so we had Dry Pro come out to check it out. Turns out that, while there is no damage or mold at this moment (thank goodness), we do have a definite water problem. Standing water and evidence of "rivers" running under the house. Our experience with Dry Pro was great, from start to finish. Matt came out, within a few days of us contacting Dry Pro, to give us a consult and estimate. He was friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable. He explained everything in an easy-to-understand way, using photos that he took while under the house inspecting the crawl space. He also explained in detail what it would take to fix the problem and how much it would cost. I honestly thought it was going to be a much larger expense, but Matt assured me that he doesn't recommend anything that's not necessary. So I felt that we were treated honestly and not taken advantage of. Matt was awesome! About 2 weeks later a crew came to do the work, and it took about half a day. They were all polite and got right to work. It was so hot, but they worked right through it, dripping wet by the end of the day. They didn't leave behind any kind of a mess...everything was cleaned up as best they could. And the work was performed as expected. One of the guys spoke with me before they left and explained what they did and showed me pictures of everything. It hasn't rained yet, so I don't know how well the fix will perform, but I'm confident that the job was done right.

Started out using drypro to install a dehumidifier and two smart jacks under my house due to settling and some moister issues. The service was performed and we thought that would be that, but thank God I purchased a monitor to watch the humidity. The dehumidifier had to be replaced three times. We were told that there was a problem with a wire that they finally fixed. To me, if you have a problem with a unit why not let ALL the customers know??? Without that monitor, we would have thought it was doing it's job. The next problem we had was the house started settling again and the cracks that the jacks had fixed opened up. I also had a window above my door crack. A crew came out who basically did nothing and I had to call the calvary to come in. When Dave Smith came out we were informed that the jacks had settled and that one of the jacks was in the wrong place. Is that why my window cracked? can't prove it but I would say so. He fixed this himself. We were also informed that there were other problems and we would would need a lot more jacks and three helical piers to fix them. Dave seemed to know what he was talking about. He was the bright spot in our ordeal. He set everything up, but unfortunately he can not do everything and their customer service really stinks. A crew finally came to the house and set things up to raise the house. They left leaving my yard a mess with trash and pieces of concrete and I didn't hear from Drypro and no one showed up on the day to finish the job. After having to send a mean email to Dave, he went ahead and got the ball rolling. A new crew was sent to do the piers and a new crew to finish the jacks. FINALLY some folks other than just Dave who knew what they were doing. The pier group consisted of Cory, Adam and Orlando. Great group of guys who explained everything to me and when they were done had the yard in better shape than it was when they started. The jack crew was made up of Micah and Ian. Another crew with knowledge of what they were doing. Thanks David Smith, Cory, Adam, Orlando, Micah, and Ian for making a not so good experience turn out well. Now we just have to wait and see if our problems have been fixed.

Corey, Adam and Orlando all did a great job. They were very pleasant to deal with, showed and explained all the work they did. After looking at it, it looks much nicer and cleaner. We are looking forward to having the water and humidity issues solved once and for all. They showed pictures of everything they did so I didn't have to go all through the crawl space. The initial assessment and fee quote was a good experience as well. They arrived and spent a lot of time in the crawl space and showed detailed options and quotes as well as pictures of the issues. He was very responsive via email when we asked follow up questions. We compared them to three other highly rated Angie's list companies and they came out on top.
