When we began searching Angies List for contractors for the jobs we needed in our back yard, we got prices quoted from numerous contactors. Some higher, some lower. We chose Daniel Lynch because of the price and his personality, as well as his longevity in the business. Although he works primarily down in NC, we were able to have him perform this job for us in Chesapeake. This was a great decision. This project is going perfectly. From getting the permit, dealing with different codes from his home state, to getting the the materials delivered where they fit in our driveway, everything was smooth!l! The size of our deck was overwhelming to us - 14x37, with steps, and gates and bannisters all around. Despite the heat and lack of wind, Mr. Lynch has worked solo through the project, quickly and efficiently. We are exceptionally pleased. The deck is almost finished, and we are contemplating having him back to build a large screened in porch on the deck. We are thrilled with the deck, and it's not even done yet!! I don't know how often he's available to work in this area, but either here or his home area, great contractor.

we fired d a lynch apx. jan.10,2010. to many things were wrong at this point, and his contract was expired. i had already paid him to order my kitchen and have it delivered, he cancelled my order and never returned the money. upon further investigating the home we found numerous things wrong, like we paid for 2 coats of paint with a primer, and mildew resistant paint in the b/rms, we did not get it. we were told certain things we wanted to change in the house plans could not be changed because they would not meet code, this was a lie ,we have since had these things changed, and they do meet code.our deck that surrounds the home on 3 sides is done with the poorest quality wood, also when they were nailing it , they split just about every piece of wood that was nailed and filled it with wood glue.the house was built 9 ft. up and it is not level, there are no reinforcements to keep the home from shaking.he bought a used tub, and told me it was new.i can go on and on.
