Our family was victim of the horrific bedbug. It was brought into our house by a source that we were able to identify. We called I called Orkin to come and evaluate the situation. Nick Leon came and evaluated the situation, verified that what we thought were bedbugs were indeed bedbugs, and proceeded to "talk" my disabled daughter and my disabled self who were the only ones home at the time through a session that was meant to scare people into taking action. We were the prey of this man and he got us for $2000 and has torn our family apart where my husband and I are now splitting up because of the situation. He got my daughter so scared that she wouldn't listen to any other companies thoughts or proposals and my husband joined right in with her. Nick for our family apart by telling my husband and my daughter that every single thing in our home that was not a large piece of furniture needed to be destroyed and thrown away in a commercial dumpster. My husband enlisted the help of somebody that he knows that I do not like and they proceeded to throw out 31 years of information including all of our wedding memorabilia from 30 years ago this was all done at the instruction of Nick Leon bedbug investigator for Orkin. I have talked to five other very reputable exterminator companies that have assured me that this was not what was required. This man told us that in his 20 years in this business he is seen hundreds of families that were torn apart by having to throw things away that they did for removing bedbugs. I prayed to the living God above that nobody else will undergo what we have undergone and not only that but to pay the outrageous price of $2000 for men to come in to our house after we've thrown every single solitary thing away that belong to our marriage and be here for exactly 33.4 minutes. I do believe that this inspector that works for Orkin in the Kansas City area takes pride in finding pray such as me and my daughter. I know when I looked up where he lived he lives in a far bigger house than I would ever hoped to. But, he can have it. They spray inside and outside of our home, and also investigate anything that I might have concerns with. They will also come out to the house anytime I call to respray if I see any bugs in the house, and that is included in the $80.00 that I pay bi-monthly. I will continue to use their service to combat bugs and pests in our home in the future.
