The contractor we hired did a great job on our deck storage cabinet and broom closet. He responded in a timely fashion to our communications and was on time, respectful, and courteous. He even made time to fit our project in while we were in town for only a few days. We will be calling him again for future help around the house with our projects.

I called Walters Home Improvement as I needed an attic staircase installed. Lee was able to schedule and complete my job within 3 days. He arrived on-time and completed the job in about 5 hours. He helped me select the best place for the staircase and the installation and finished product were great. I would recommend contacting Lee at Walters Home Improvement for any project for which you need professional help.

The owner Lee came promptly, gave a very reasonable price broken down by job. He has been honest, reliable, and came on New Year’s Eve to work . I just can’t say enough to express how pleased I am by his work and work ethic. His work is meticulous and everything is done right at a reasonable price.

This is for a vacation home and I was planning a trip up for specific dates. I called and left a message. My call was returned the next day and plans were made to meet me upon my arrival in Boone. Then my nephew called and as a surprise, he had done all the work for me before I came up. I immediately called to cancel and explained what happen and was delighted to have a friendly response. Walters was very understanding and offered to assist any time in the future. I know I will have other work in the future and will call Walters for assistance. They were very nice.

I called Lee on Monday, saying I have a dormer that's leaking. He said he'd be here between 8:30-9:00 a.m. the following morning. I didn't see or hear from Lee. Today is Thursday. Lee called and said he got tied up on a job in Boone and was sorry he was late getting back to me. He asked if I still wanted him to come. Absolutely not!

The finished product was very satisfactory. Personal issues kept him from work at times.

Lee was very responsive to my calls, he had been referred to me by a Realtor friend, which is very unusual up here. Most people just ignore your calls and if contacted make commitments they never keep. He is very professional and very capable. He came up to look at the problem and decided he might need help if he needed to pull the window. He came back the following week as promised, and after he and the other carpenter looked at the problem, they determined that repairs could be made without pulling the window. Lee crafted a board to match the originals and repaired things good as new. He was very tidy and very pleasant. I would recommend him without hesitation!!!
