Service Plus was assigned to me through my home warranty service, American Home Shield (AHS, [*** Link removed ***] on Dec 18, 2017. Although I live near Greensboro, they were one of the few service providers AHS had who handled Bosch appliances. Dave came and looked at the problem (broken hinge) and said he thought the whole microwave would have to be replaced. So, when the display lights were going out a few weeks later, I told him that as well. He told me the parts were on order, but that Bosch was slow - which seemed understandable. But he also asked me at least 3 times to resend to him by text a photo of the microwave's model number info - which he had taken a photo of when he was here; in retrospect, this makes me doubt that he ever ordered the parts, at least initially. Later he told me he didn't know about the display problem, and that I should be fine with the hinge problem because the interior heating elements still worked - this was in February. When I spoke to him he would say, "I'll get back to you right away" - but he never did. He repeatedly failed to return my phone calls asking what was going on. In March, I called AHS and asked if I could be reassigned to another provider. They got someone at Service Plus on the phone, who told them the parts would be in any day, so they wanted me to stick with him. In late March, after repeated phone calls, I reached him and he told me he had been on vacation in Costa Rica for a month and thought my problem had been resolved, but that he would check into it and get back to me the next day. After hearing nothing and leaving a few more messages, I contacted AHS and demanded a different service provider. I will also be submitting a complaint to AHS, since it is their goal to maintain a pool of qualified and professional providers. Dave/ Service Plus was clearly neither, and I would not recommend their services. I did not pay him anything, but my AHS fee was to be $75, and then they pay him directly.
