V&V Land Management & Resource Recovery

We have 16 acres of beautiful and hilly property that was a mix of fine hardwood trees, plus maple, white pine, dogwood, etc. of all different ages. It also was overrun with Virginia pine, unbelievable vines, wild roses, privet, poison ivy and all the rest. Carrie and her crew did a first class job maneuvering around the trees we wanted to save, and clearing out the rest. The truth is I couldn’t recommend them highly enough – good people, good workers, and good service !

On the fence about who to use for your next project? Stop searching and use V&V Land Management. You will not be disappointed! I have used them multiple times at different locations for land clearing and landscape design/installation, culvert installation and repairs (of others work), gravel driveway repairs (of others work) and road building. They do not cut corners and will give you an honest assessment of what needs to be done so that it is completed correctly the first time. Most recently, I worked with Zach on a land clearing project and Charlie on landscape design/installation. I could not have been more pleased with the level of professionalism they afforded us and their positive attitudes while adapting to the multitude of changes as the project progressed. You couldn't ask for a better team working hard for you. I recommend V&V without hesitation!

We just moved into our new home and had a landslide. Frank, Charlie and the team came out and did a beautiful job building a natural wall. The artistry was amazing. They were prompt, communicated daily on tasks, hard working,, organized and an absolute joy to work with. Our site was not an easy one to say the least. The finished product is gorgeous and we love looking at it every day! We would highly recommend them to anyone. Don't hesitate to use them. We will be using them for all our future projects.

Excellent. V&V came by to do an assessment and worked closely with me on a plan to eradicate the knotweed through persistent management, including careful disposal of any cut stems. This is on part of 1/6th acre slope near a stream. The two people sent to do the work were methodical, using a colorant to help them ensure they got every stem. They communicated well too, and adked questions when they needed information. They did a great job! I’m looking forward to another treatment in fall, which is the best time to inject knotweed.

Very well. The large machine was used as much as possible. Areas that were not accessable to machine were cleared by men with chain saws and heavy duty weed eaters. No wasting of time. Very hard working employees. Good communication daily. Easy access with communication.

Frank was very thorough and professional from the start. He walked around the site and zeroed in on the stand-pipe immediately. His experience and understanding of the system was obvious. What impressed me about Frank wasn't his knowledge but rather his honest and humble approach. If he didn't have a clear answer to any of the many questions I asked him, he researched it thoroughly and always (and I sincerely mean always) got back to me. He's also able to come up with creative solutions way beyond the standard patch job so many other contractors offer. He genuinely enjoys what he does and takes great pride in every thing he does. I would recommend Frank to anyone, anytime.

That mulching machine is amazing! We love our back yard and forest now. We can take walks and have quiet places to sit under the canopy of healthy trees that are left without fear of dead limbs falling. Professional, dependable, and nice to work with.

V&V Land Management performed wonderfully. They were prompt, professional, courteous and great at their profession. They completely cleared the wooded area of all under brush, thickets, briers, and vines which created a lovely open selection of trees. The lake view was completely restored.

This is a great bunch of folks. We have seven acres of wooded property that had slowly become a haven for invasive species. We had had other workers out but not much progress was made. It felt like the house would soon be engulfed. Enter Chris, John and crew. They had done some work for others in our neighborhood, and they came to give us an estimate. They were very professional, and soon followed up with a written contract. I was skeptical that they could accomplish the agreed upon work in the time they proposed, and was shocked when they actually got it done in LESS time than was planned. Everything we agreed to was done, and it looks great. I plan to have them back soon to work on some other distressed areas - and save some more trees overrun with vines - within the next month or so. It is not easy to find a company who can reliably accomplish this sort of work. Highly recommend them!

The company first came out to view the problems with my driveway. They explained what they could do, gave me a price, and an expected date. They had to bring in a bulldozer, excavator, and a big roller. The pre-crew came in and set down 8 or 9 oak trees, which was done very professionally and quickly. The bulldozer operator rebuilt the road, straightened the bumps out, and lowered the grade of the road by 4%. He replaced the culvert that was too short with a longer culvert, and he brought in laborers to put in rocks in the catch basin for rain that I have. He built the road bed with layers of stone and gravel. He used the compactor roller after each level, up until it was about a foot thick. Once the road was built they hydro-seeded both sides of the driveway. The seeds sprouted and turned into grass about 3 weeks after the hydo-seeding. The next thing they did was sculpt the hill beside my garage by bringing in rocks from a local quarry and they put in perennials and other flowers as well.

I bought my house and land about 2 years ago, it had been let go some. So far the best money I have spent on it is hiring V&V. Rare combination of professionalism and" family owned" customer service. My land looks like a state park!

We discussed a concept with Frank, who came up with a creative, yet functional design to help us enjoy our outdoor space. His appreciation for natural materials in combination with his ability to solve the technical challenges of a natural space allowed us to create exactly the environment that we were looking for. The attention to detail and craftsmanship displayed were very impressive. They use fine materials and are particular about creating a unique, beautiful, and lasting structure. They solved tricky drainage issues and seamlessly integrated the space around our existing structures. The entire team was knowledgable, friendly, and reliable. They treated our home and property with great respect. Despite the fact that were were not on site for most of the project, communication was never a problem. They conferred with us often and were always available to answer questions for us. It was not the first time we worked with V&V, and hopefully, it will not be the last.
