Description of Work: Tree & Tractor Work gave us a quote for the installation of a swing and planting of the bushes.

Description of Work: After a massive tree fell on our house, Jerry and his crew removed the tree from our home so that renovations and repairs could be done. Jerry and his crew began work within 13 hours of the accident -- pretty impressive given that the tree fell around midnight. They took their time, removing the tree carefully so that no further damage would be done to the house during removal. In addition, they were exceedingly courteous and caring. Before removing tree limbs from a side sunporch, which had been my "office", they asked if there were particular items for which they should search during the removal process. As a result of their care and concern, some precious (to me) photos and collectibles were salvaged. The work of the tree removal itself was covered by our homeowner's insurance, so I am unable to include payment information for that job here. I simply do not know how much the insurance company paid for the job, but I am certain that it was reasonable!! The amount I have listed above is the amount Jerry is charging for a second job he is doing for us. This is described in the following paragraph. I would recommend Jerry and his team for any and all tree work in the Asheville area. They exhibited an extraordinary degree of both skill and compassion. In fact, since last May, we have hired Jerry to do the following: 1) remove the tree stump (This process was not covered by insurance) and 2) regrade and "seed" our yard on the side of the house where the tree fell. For this second job, Jerry is charging $650.
