+ -1 moreI had given Ms. Pardo very specific requirements which she totally ignored. She told me the property in question was satisfactory and met my needs, and had me fly 2500 miles to see it. (Flight, car rental, lodging expenses plus lost work time.) I didn't even need to walk inside the property (which turned out to be quite a slum) to see she had ignored my explicit requests. When I complained to her broker, she lied about everything - even though I had proof thru my emails. Her broker, of course, took her side. (The date listed above is a guess - I could be off by six months.)
Description of Work: I was working on a long distance real state transaction with Ms. Pardo.

+ -1 moreSeamlessly! From the time the listing was signed, Sylvia immediately held an open house, which brought a number of interested potential buyers. She advertised my condo. Neither of these marketing tools were done by the first agent I listed with. Once a contract was signed, we moved through the remaining processes smoothly and easily. It was a great transaction, so great that I asked Sylvia to help me find a place to buy. And that went even more smoothly, with Sylvia negotiating a great price on a great home.
Description of Work: Sylvia listed my condo and sold it within 2 months. I had tried to sell it myself, then I listed with another agent who showed the property once. It became apparent to me that I needed an agent who would really work for me, listen to me and take into consideration my needs in the sale. I had heard of Sylvia from several friends who had worked with her and couldn't stop saying great things about doing business with her. So, I hired her. In short, the minute I signed the listing agreement I felt I was in good hands. She went out of her way to make sure the condo was set up to show its potential. She kept me informed all the way. She gave wonderful advice on the offer I accepted which was more than I had hoped for. Sylvia brings an incredible honesty, integrity and thorough knowledge of the area and its resources to the table.
