Description of Work: Scheduled an appointment for pricing to install a new retaining wall. He was very polite and professional. Initial appointment had to be changed however, he called me with notification a day in advance which helped me with meeting my requirements. Pricing was reasonable and well within scope, however, due to my other commitments we could not get the work done. I would call him again for services. |

 + 0 moreFrom beginning to end, this was an exceptionally good experience. Patrick is very easy to communicate with and very attentive to the homeowner's wishes. I had a broad outlines idea of what we wanted to achieve and with his experience we settled in on a very good plan. The end result is not a standard walkway. It is clearly a project that had a lot of forethought and great execution. We used random shaped flagstones, 2 different types, which require considerable skill and patience to place well. We also shaped the walkway to blend in with the site and placed a large stone monolith around which the walkway was constructed. Patrick and his crew did a fantastic job in all respects. We get a lot of walkers on our quiet street and many stop to take a look, expressing admiration. Both in terms of function and aesthetics, we couldn't be happier!

 + 2 moreOverall it went very smooth despite the rain. When it became evident the rain was coming he was there with the perfect size tarp and then was very considerate with mud and tracking in and around the house. He was very polite and good at explaining everything to me.
Description of Work: A retaining wall was replaced that had pulled out part of the foundation of my house and although this company does not do foundation work he found a very reasonable person to come in and fix it and had it all timed out perfect.

 + -1 moreMy wife and I built an addition on our house, and were left with water pooling up in a spot behind or house. We also added a new entryway, and had to devise a place for guests to park in front of our house. Pat worked with us in determining the most cost effective, appropriate way of dealing with these issues. The end result was beautiful stone work on our property, and all our water issues solved. Pat and Chad were great to work with! They showed up when they said they would, and were flexible regarding changes we wanted to make. I would absolutely recommend Stolenmaier Hardscape for any rock work, or landscaping!
Description of Work: Stollenmaier Hardscape installed a parking area in front of our house, a stone stairway leading to the house from the parking area, and a stone pathway leading to the front entry. Behind our house they re-graded some of our back yard to re-route water, installed a catch basin for water, installed a french drain with river gravel on top, built a set of stone stairs leading from our deck to our back yard, installed buried pipe for gutters to drain in, planted grass, and mulched impacted areas.
