Spick - N - Span Cleaning Services

They were supposed to send two workers and said the job should take about six hours. I was quoted $300. They ended up sending three, saying one of the workers had to leave early. I had to tell them a number of times how I wanted things done, like the order I wanted the rooms done. I also asked them to dust the exposed logs but when I checked they were still dusty. They also completely neglected to clean the floor in one room and they didn't sweep any of my hand-braided rugs. None of the light bulbs in the lamps were dusted. They were actually done in four hours and the cost was still $300. I wish they had followed up with me to see if I was happy with their work, but I think I would give them another chance. UPDATE 7/6/2011 I've since noticed several other things that weren't done. I called the company yesterday and left a message but no one has called me back. Update 7/7/2011 The owner of the business called and stated that they will send out their workers to complete the jobs that they did not do previously. I was pleased that they called and want to try to make good on this situation. I will leave more feedback after the job is completed. Update 07/12/2011 They did come back Monday like she said she would. She brought two workers with her. Mrs. Crisp as in a good humor and was ok about it. They had skipped an entire room. They went back over the room and were very helpful about it. They stayed 2 hours and completed the work they did not complete the first time they were here.

They seemed to be in a big hurry.

Definitely recommend her. She has a great personality and isn't satisfied until every bit of dirt she can find is gone. Will work my budget around to keep using her.

My interaction ended with the initial phone call. Maria sounded disinterested from the beginning, her English is not good, but understandable. When I mentioned I was slightly disabled and would need dish washing and some laundry she asked me if I was a senior (to her that meant over 50). When I answered in the affirmative, she said maybe I should go elsewhere because her prices would be too high for me.

Maria showed up on time, went right to work. Didn't stop until she was finished. Didn't ask for the radio to be on, didn't wear one. Refused our offer of a cold drink.

She came out for an estimate first, then quoted me a price based on how many rooms. We scheduled a day for her to come out - which she did. Maria was on time, professional, and does a great job. She even cleaned in unexpected areas such as wiping the shelves out in my refrigerator. I will work extra hours each pay period in order to keep her coming out. She even called after the first visit to check to see that I was satisfied with her service. Excellent!!!!! A+
