Crew was doing a job 2 doors up on Dunn street. When they stopped & proceeded to clean up, they blew chippings, dirt and some garbage down to our driveway. I went out & picked up the garbage and spoke loudly that I would appreciate them not blowing garbage down here. I was ignored even though he looked right at me,saw me pick it up. Not until my husband came out did he bother to come say anything. The mess was made up there and should have been cleaned up there, not blown to other people's property

Wonderful. They did great job.

Absolutely rude and unreasonable site manager. Would give 0 stars if possible. Company came to cut trees next door. Shredded our yard with their trucks and caused paint damage to our car and offered no apology. Proceeded to start screaming at myself and housemate when we asked about timeline and the damage they did. Offered no solutions only walked away and told us we had to just deal with it and that it would take however long it took. Do not recommend.

Royce and his crew did an excellent and efficient job taking down a large, dead pine tree on a hill in our yard (beside the road). He sent us a very professional video quote when he came to look at the tree - showing exactly what he would do. He and his crew were punctual, professional, safe, and fast (only took 2 hours) throughout the process. We will definitely hire him again!

They had come earlier to work on a dogwood tree that we're trying to save because it has Anthracnose and it's dying and you have to treat it. Most people just let them die, but we've got a terrific huge, big dogwood tree and we want to save it. So they had treated the dogwood tree and then I found that the oak tree that they prepped to stay out of way of dogwood because the two of them are growing together, there was a place on it that was dead that nobody noticed and it was jeopardizing my car in the driveway. So, I called them and I said, "We want this trimmed out." This oak tree is a nice one too, everybody says it's a pretty tree. So, I didn't want any hacking on it, I wanted it trimmed intelligently and the dead stuff taken out and looked at. So, Royce came out and looked and he agreed, "Yes, that's not good." He told me when they were coming, which was early this morning and he said he wouldn't be there but he would talk to his guys, three of them. They came out, they were very polite and quite. One of them came up and talked to me. I told them, "Don't step on the [24:45]" They said they will do the best they could, they would rope out things and they did. They were really quiet, the dog didn't even bark and they were using chainsaws. They ground up the wood, there is nothing left, no sawdust or anything. It was terrific. It took them as long as they said it would, they said it would take about an hour to do that. I never gave them any money. I was going to email Royce and say, "Hey,..." because I've got a check made out to him and he will come and look at what has been done. I trust him. He said, "If you need just yard work done, I know people who I can recommend."

Came very quickly and gave very complete quote....very responsive....verified what I wanted done before starting ....he covered every detail. I would always recommend these guys.....I will have them back soon to take down a few more trees.

We have used Royce's Tree Service several times to remove dead/dying trees on our heavily wooded lot. He is the BEST, absolutely! As a previous reviewer stated, he is a certified arborist, and can properly evaluate the need for tree removal or treatment. In addition, he is very cautious about recommending removal if there is some doubt about the need, and referred us to another arborist for an opinion. This is only one example of the integrity and professionalism he has shown during every contact. Also, each time we have had tree service from Royce, he has been extremely responsive and prompt in doing the work exactly when he said he would. Our property has been left swept and spotless. Our neighbors watched Royce remove a very tall dying pine and commented on how professional and careful he was - they hired him on the spot to do some work for them while he was in the neighborhood. During a windstorm this past weekend, another large pine fell into the street in front of our house. I e-mailed Royce, and he came out with his family on a Sunday afternoon to look at the tree. He arrived at 8:00 AM on Monday morning to get the downed tree out of the way before expected ice and snow. There aren't many services out there with this high level of service, professionalism, responsiveness, and integrity. He has earned my highest recommendation.

It took 4 days, but all selected trees were removed and chipped onsite so that we could use the mulch on pathways through gardens. Royce and his helper showed up on time, provided us with certificate of insurance, was very professional and methodical in his application of his knowledge. Landscape was left in tact and neat; all branches and debris were chipped and disposed of. We are very pleased with the project.

He cleaned the area up afterwards, work all day long and did a fantastic job. I have also asked him to come back for another estimate.

Royce is very responsive, professional and prompt. The first time I used Royce it was for a tree removal at my residence. I sleep easier knowing that tree won't be falling on the house now. He did such a professional job that I thought of him immediately the next time I needed a professional opinion. He was there in less than an hour to assess the situation when I inquired about a "treasure" tree I had noticed beginning to tip at the Heart House in West Asheville. He was willing to work on a Saturday. He worked around our special circumstances and was very accommodating. He also worked with us on delivering the wood to homes where we wanted the tree for firewood. Thanks Royce!

I found Royce via a referral. He was extremely professional and prompt; very communicative, patient with my concerns, emailed me a quote immediately after our consult, and later emailed my invoice. The tree was removed while we were out of town; my neighbors said the crew was very quick and thorough and we were very happy with the job when we returned. HIGHLY recommend this business! I will use them again, for sure!

They do an excellent job at a reasonable price. He got really good machinery and got everything chipped up very quickly. He comes on time, as agreed. He even gave me a copy of his current insurance papers. I’ve used him before and I’ll use him again.

We used Royce one time in the past. When we called, he scheduled us at his next open date in one week. He arrived as scheduled and in just a few hours had both trees removed. One tree fell across some of our landscaping and Royce was careful to preserve the affected bushes. Royce uses a subcontracter for stump removal and he came shortly after the tree was removed and did a wonderful job grinding the stump and roots. Royce is a real professional and we are planning on using him again in the near future to remove a tree struck by lightening.

Excellent. Royce was professional and did a great job. Arrived in a timely manner. Worked hard and safely taking down a large old tree in our backyard. Cleaned up and then trimmed a slightly wild Silver Maple in our front yard which now looks much better. He also gave us some tips for keeping the Maple healthy.
