Diagnostic done...said he was ordering part from Alabama. He said it would take a couple of weeks. I paid 112 and have never heard back. It seems that this is a pattern. Asheville Police were contacted.

It went extremely well. Mr. Robinson explained everything he was doing. and although I think most repairmen would have given up and let the refrigerator thaw out over time, Mr. Robinson worked until the ice was gone and the problem solved. This saved us a lot of food that would have spoiled otherwise. Additionally, he did this work on a Saturday when most other repair shops are closed.

I had this guy fix my plasma tv as the mother board blew out. I was happy with him at this point even though he was expensive. The mother board blew again 8 months later. I called him to let him know. This was a brand new mother board so there is no way it should have blown. This guy came to pick up my mother board to repair. After he collected it he would not contact me ever again at this point. The repair (cheat) wouldn't have been as profitable as other jobs so he never contacted me, told to me in so many word by Robinson himself. It took me three weeks of constant calls before I even spoke with him. He finally brought my board back finally only after threatening action, of course still in disrepair. This guy is unprofessional and doesn't respect his customers time or the customer themselves. I would only give out his number to people I don't care for. In short go anywhere else.

Initially the repair seemed to go well. Less than 9 months later the same exact problem has happened again. I cannot get them to look at my tv.

I had an 11 o'clock appointment and he did not show up. I called him, but I did not get a return call. I have called him about 4 or 5 times since then and left voice mails and still have not received a call back. The first time he worked for us, he did a great job. Unfortunately, this time, I cannot get him to call me back.

Arrived after electricity went out in a couple of zones. Immediately troubleshot the problem, fixed the wiring which was potentially dangerous and promptly replaced the necessary parts, installed a couple of requested new dimmers as a bonus extra and checked the rest of the house.

They were very prompt and i would use them again if the occasion arises.

The electricians were polite,on time,and pleasant and efficient. The process went well and we will call them again.

TV blew a circuit board. Did some research online to see what might be the problem and cost just to educate myself and get an estimate in mind. TV repair provider identified the same area and was a little cheaper that the online information I had gathered. Provider ordered a new circuit board, replaced it and tested TV thoroughly. I had a small issue after I got it home with a cover blocking removal of the stand to wall mount. Provider coordinated with me I took it back in and he and took care of problem right away while I waited. Great Job! Very professional and friendly.

He diagnosed the problem quickly and repaired without any new parts. Connecting wire in screen had loosened and re-seated the plug. It's been six months since repair and TV is working great.

They were great. They were honest, they said they could fix it but they don't know how long it would remain fixed. For $300 you really couldn't go wrong; it was worth the gamble, I think because they will send us out to replace the television set or $300 to give it a try. They were great and made it clear that they are not making any crazy promises it was just what they can.

We just dropped it off because it was a big television. He did a very good job. He told us he would call us when it was going to be fixed. He gave us a call when it was fixed and it was a reasonable amount cost wise. It's one of the few television repair places in this area that will take care of everything within a couple of days and we don't have to have it in there for weeks and weeks.

He's been doing work off and on. He does an excellent job and he's very fast. We had search for the replacement parts. We finally got that in and he came. I have no problems at all with their service. I was glad to find Robinson on Angie's List.

Did a great job. Came the same day I called and saved me from buying a new TV.

My Samsung plasma TV started having a problem that worsened and eventually would simply keep clicking on and off at startup. After researching the problem on the Internet I found that Samsung had problems between '07 and '09 with TV capacitors; particularly those providing power. A legal settlement stipulated certain TVs over that period would be covered for repair. Turned out mine was not one of those. I called Samsung and they referred me to their "local" Samsung service (in Greer, SC) who told me they would charge $200 just to travel to evaluate the problem. Rather than do that, I ended up calling Robinson Electronics and was very pleased with the service provided by David Robinson. He promptly returned my calls, always stayed in touch by phone and always showed up on time. What I liked best was that he took a very measured and practical approach to determining and fixing the problem; giving me options along the way. Eventually, I opted for a new circuit board that controls the TV's power. The TV has worked perfectly since. David is a real professional with a lot of technical knowledge and great customer service skills.

The repair person came and presented himself very friendly and professionally, and then he went to work on the TV. He found that the problem had to due with the main bulb of the TV having been burnt out after the prior 8 years of use. He brought in a replacement bulb (part was $150), installed it, and the TV was working like brand new again.

They were exactly as they described.

David Robinson was wonderful, he was excellent. I called him on a Saturday morning and I didn't expect for him to even answer the phone. But he answered the phone and said he was out on another job but would come by after that. He came out promptly within an hour and half and started diagnosing the problem. I had a lighting strike and I thought my power strips were adequate enough but they unfortunately, were not. It blew out my cable and up into the TV. But he tried several different things and tried to repair the TV but nothing worked. He told me that unfortunately it could not be fixed. He did put everything back together and he offered to take it away for me and give it to an association in town where donated TV's are used at a community college or something to help train young people. He was a very nice young man. He was here over an hour on a Saturday and I felt the price was very reasonable. If I have another problem with a TV he will be the first person I call.

I called David at Robinson electronics because my Toshiba flat screen TV died suddenly. He was on a service call but promised to call me back when he returned to the office, which he did. He worked with me over the phone to try and fix the problem. After a short while the TV was working again. He gave me information on how to get a software update from Toshiba to hopefully stop the problem from occurring again. With four TVs in the house it is only a matter of time before we will need a repair man. You can be sure I will be calling David again.

Came on time, explained what he would do, showed the burned out parts and promptly replaced them. Said if further problem ensued he not charge for service call and perform further work if needed.

David came over, took the TV off the wall and transported it to his shop. He replicated our problem with the TV, ordered the part and delivered the TV back ASAP. We are most happy with the repair.

David arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the "2 blink" power light problem with our Panasonic 50" plasma TV, replaced parts and quickly fixed the problem. He was very personable, professional and knowledgeable.
