R B's Gas

Very disappointed in this company as we speak. Last week while at home, my partner and I realized that our heat wasn’t working. We had just filled our gas tank only 2 months prior, so we “knew” it couldn’t be a gas issue. After our property management so kindly made an appointment with Gentry Heating to check on our heating, we then realized it was not our heating system that was the problem; it was due to the fact that our gas tank was practically on empty. This company not only now forces their customers to completely fill their tanks every time, but made us pay the full amount back a couple months ago, but NEVER ACTUALLY CAME to our tank to fill it. It doesn’t end there. This weekend a man from the company came to locate the tank and talk with us about the situation. While inspecting the tank, he then tells us that because of our tanks location next to a growing tree, the tank has become completely unstable and could cause leakage. Therefore, over the past few years, which is probably as long as the tank has been destabilized, it has been incredibly unsafe and could easily explode. In conclusion, our lives have been at extreme risk this ENTIRE TIME OF LIVING HERE. My partner called this morning multiple times to speak with a manager to find out when they will actually do their job and fix the situation. Apparently, he is currently on an emergency call. This company took our money, didn’t do their job, has been letting us live in danger for the year and a half we have lived here, and it is in the middle of December and we STILL AT THIS MOMENT have had no heat or hot water for almost a week. Beyond frustrated at this point. Ready to take things to the next level.

It was a disaster. Through their miscommunication, I hired a contractor to do work which R B's had factored into their cost. No refund was offered, so I paid doubly for work done. The heater NEVER worked properly. They blamed the plumbing in my house, & told me I should have certain procedures done in the house. I hired a reputable plumber to do these things, & the heater still never worked properly. This was over $1,000.00 spent needlessly; R B's never offered any reimbursement. They would send their people out, & nothing would improve. They called a service tech from Rinnai, no improvement. They had someone from Rinnai's home office call me. No change, & R B's has failed to return our phone calls ever since. We now have a hot water heater which works intermittently, & we have spent over $4,000.00 on R B's Gas, plumbers, & electricians.
