PODS Moving & Storage

The actually guy who brought out the storage POD was very nice. But, I have a problem with how they handle the billing. They are double billing through my credit card and my father's even after I have made several calls to fix the problem. I first used my fathers credit card to have it delivered, but than transferred the account to my card after the initial charge. My father had to call his credit card company to cancel his card, because POD Moving and Storage was not understanding by request to get rid of the second credit card on file. They were suppose to credit his card back, but have yet to do so. After three billing cycles his card was charged along with mine, when his should have never been charged past that point. Certain levels of management can see only the last 4 digits of the card, and shouldn't be able to charge the card. But, other levels of management do have access to the original credit card even after it is deleted. All this is in the rental agreement, in the future I would not sign something like that, I will be more concerned with what they have in that agreement. I do not have a problem with the product, just with how the billing issue has been handled thus far. Would use them in the future if I was able to fix the billing issue.

VERY POOR. do not use them. They state one thing on the phone and do something totally different. Moved my furniture to a location without my approval and would charge mew thousands of dollars to bring it back. They even tried to tell me I was wrong on my request on the phone. Very unprofessional. They even called me back weeks later to tell me I was wrong!! I would NEVER use them again. Buyer beware - I am not the first - check them out online - not their publicity reviews.

Overall it went very well. I called on fairly short notice but still got the PODS delivered when I needed them. In fact, after filling up the first one, I realized I needed a second one at 7:00 p.m.in the evening, and they delivered it the very next morning. They are very good about calling the night before with your estimated time of delivery. I had one mix-up in communication when I scheduled drop off for my final destination (I had wanted afternoon, but that was somehow translated into morning), but the manager worked with me to make sure the driver called me when he arrived in case I wasn't there. You do not have to be there when they drop off, but I wanted to make sure he could leave it in the driveway. Whenever I call them, I never have to wait more than a couple of minutes to speak to a live person.

I was satisfied with the experience. They were a little pricy. I would use them again in the future.
