Exercise caution when considering Pisgah Roofing & Restoration, particularly for insurance-related repairs. While the quality of their actual work was good, their project management and communication were severely lacking. After a pipe burst caused damage to our home in January 2024, we contracted with Pisgah for repairs. Be aware that they require you to sign an exclusive contract before beginning insurance negotiations. What followed was a 10-month ordeal marked by: -Five months just to finalize the initial estimate, while our home continued to suffer water damage -Multiple unanswered calls and emails -A four-month delay between paying the 50% deposit and work beginning -Incomplete work followed by payment demands -Final repairs completed only after extensive follow-up The construction crews were professional and their workmanship was solid. However, the company's poor communication, disorganization, and apparent lack of urgency made this a frustrating experience.

They never did the job. They came out, did an assessments and then asked for our insurance report. we kept trying to set an appointment for repair but they said they could not do it without an insurance report - we got it to them and then they ghosted us - I called the office and they said that contractor was no longer with them. They sent out another contractor who said he had to take video with his drone - and crashed the drone. Said he would come out again with a different drone, and asked for our insurance report - I said the insurance claim had already been paid out to us, we just need the roof fixed and we will pay - he said they could do a bogger repair if the insurance company will pay more. So basically they want to scam the insurance company so they can do a bigger job than need to be done. He ghosted us as well, I called the main office again and they said they would look into it and call me back - big surprise, they never did. 3 months and no repair.

The reason I rated them so highly is that they are highly reliable roof contractors. I have contacted several different contractors to do roofing repairs ever since my home was affected by hurricane Helene. They are on time, they work fast, and the work is professionally done. My roofing leak was repaired and my shed roof completely replaced in six hours by just two men. Their quotes are very reasonable and I highly recommend them.

crew performed the repairs fine. But noone in the group understood english and I don't speak spanish ! Should be at least one WITH the crew that speaks english !

The rep was very nice and the price was reasonable. The work was completed in a day since it was a repair job. Communication was good. Would use them again.

Communication with scheduling wasn’t great but once we finally had the sun tunnels installed the work crew was amazing and very professional. I love the work they did and would hire them again.

The project manager and team were exceptional...friendly and professional. The work they did was excellent. They even came back to fix one of the sun tunnels that wasn't letting in as much light as the other one the next day before we even asked about it. The communication was not great as far as scheduling and reliability. I was a little worried about the work they would be doing because if it was anything like the communication we were in trouble. But they were great and I love my sun tunnels!

Pisgah Roofing did a great job replacing a skylight. My only complaint would be that they never called to let me know what time they would be here. I really appreciate it when a company calls and gives me a time frame on when to expect them.

Pisgah Roofing did an excellent job replacing our 18 year old roof damaged by hail. Initially my husband and I were skeptical after hearing horror stories from our neighbors about making roof claims to their insurance companies. Corey Lord with his professionalism, experience, and sincerity earned our trust. He advocated for us with our insurance company providing them with ample evidence of damage ensuring that insurance covered the entire cost of replacement. He worked directly with the adjuster and kept in contact with us throughout the entire process. He returned our texts and calls immediately. From the time Pisgah received the initial check from the insurance Corey had us scheduled within a week. The crew not only did an excellent job on the roof but with clean up as well. There was an on-site supervisor monitoring the crewâ s work the entire time! I have recommended Pisgah to my neighbors and will continue to do so. Replaced metal roof, replaced rotted fascia & soffit, replaced gutters & downspouts. Looks very good so far, ask me again in 10 years. Did pretty good job cleaning up, still finding the occasional nail, screw, cigarette butts scattered around. That's to be expected, I suppose. Overall pleased with the job. They did a lot of work, finished in a timely manner.

Clean job site, went the extra mile for me

The first time they did not detect the correct problem; so when the workers came they did what appeared to be a good job, but the next time that it rained the leaking was worse than ever. The second time out, the gentleman did a more through inspection; and when the crew came out they did a very good job! So far, no more leaks.

Everyone very friendly!

We were very pleased with the work, the workers, timeliness, etc. However, we wish the shingles had matched better. Original shingles are brownish/grey, and replaced shingles are greenish/black. Very evident where the work was done.
