Organic Planet Cleaning

As a former Independent contractor of this company, I can assure you: Organic Planet routinely cheat their employees out of a Living Wage, while touting this generous wage as their greatest competitive advantage to clients. They withhold wages for weeks to months. They promise you they'll reduce toxins in your home, however trained me to concoct and utilize a toxic mixture of vinegar and bleach on a regular basis for our biggest client. This led me to having serious breathing issues and surgery, time off work and recovery costs. They misclassify their employees as Independent Contractors so they can get out of paying for taxes or benefits, but if you look at Employee vs Contractor stipulations, you'll see the company has every stipulation for their contractors being employees and thereby having things like insurance, if for example, the company exposes you to lethal gases that force you to stop working and get an expensive surgery, as was with my experience. They also make the Independent Contractors sign non-compete clauses, which is customarily not done since independent contractors have their own methods, equipment, and clients to serve outside of companies calling on their expertise.

I wrote the D grade review from October 2014. Laura called after I posted this review and offered a very sincere apology. She mentioned she fired the cleaner who failed to show up. We felt her apology was sincere. I accepted her offer for a free cleaning and even though I was nervous about having them back, I overall felt comfortable with them. They have been doing an excellent job cleaning bi-weekly for 5 months now. I'm very happy, my home cleaning is on auto pilot, what a relief ! If only I had them out more often! I love coming home and seeing all the little touches that show they care. Recycling and trash put out etc. Would gladly recommend now, I'm impressed and hard to please !!

Sounded very promising on the phone and i like that they use organic products but........ Over 30 minutes late for the interview. Pulled up like he owned the place with loud booming music and spun up gravel. Didn't feel professional.

They use organic natural products, so you don’t have to worry about what you are breathing when they leave.

Don't wash windows in the winter.

Well the actual cleaning went well, very well. The 2 owners came out and we were very impressed. We tried to re-schedule again as we desperately need regular service. We wanted to get to know who was coming over so we were comfortable not being home. If we were more available initially, perhaps things would have went better. When we tried to schedule the second time, they were not available, and that was fine with us. We scheduled again for a Friday, the owner told my wife other cleaners would be coming out and she would follow up with a call on Tuesday. Well, no one showed up on the Friday (this was about 3 weeks ago), and no call on Tuesday. We don't feel it's our job to call and pester people who supposedly run a business and want work. In fact the reason I need my house cleaned is I am busy at my small business returning every phone call and working very hard. I resent all these contractors in Asheville that can't return phone calls and show up when promised.

They are doing an out-standing job. I am very particular. They use their equipment and cleaning materials. They do the bath tubs as well as blow the driveway. Their price is reasonable. They are punctual and very professional. They document everything.

They did a great job and their products are fabulous. Other natural products don't leave the home smelling as wonderful as theirs do.

The cleaning is fine, but it's not great. David misses spots. They don't remember from one cleaning to the next what they are supposed to do. They had a few employees that did a great job, but the employees wouldn't remain. The main problem was scheduling. My emails were only returned after 2-3 attempts to contact them. They didn't schedule my cleaning correctly one time. Nice people, but inefficient with my time and my money.

The y cleaned my condo according to the directions that I left.

During the cleaning, we were pleased with her demeanor. She was extremely polite and respectful--even when busy working. (My wife was amazed at her efficiency and thoroughness.) We were extremely pleased with the results and would recommend her highly.

Very good housecleaning for 4 hour time allocated

I have had David and Laura working for me approx. every other week over the past year. If there is anything you want done, they don't do on a regular basis just tell them and they will do it. Stuff that doesn't need to be done on every visit. Just as long as they know you need it done, they will have the right supplies and get the work done. My house is not the easiest to clean as it is very old, but they still manage to do a great job and are in and out of here in an hour most times, when they both come. Working at home and having health issues makes it great for me that they don't take half a day to do the same work. I highly recommend them.

Very high quality work, friendly & professional! They use cleaners that are good for the environment and have a light, pleasant smell.

It has turned out well; they are wonderful and I continue to use them.

Organic Planet Cleaning does a quick and good job. You can also make a special list of what you need cleaned. They use environmentally friendly cleaning products. I'd give them an "A".
