My heater stopped working yesterday and when I called Nate, he was five minutes away from my house and came right over. I first met Nate about 15 years ago when he repaired a heater at my grandparents' house in Hendersonville. He has worked on the heating system in my home in Asheville over the years and always does a great job. Nate is easy to get in touch with, responds quickly to phone calls or texts, and is reliable and honest. I was expecting to pay for a new condensation pump, but Nate informed me it was under warrenty so I only paid for the service call. He had a new pump in his van and installed it right away.

Nate called ahead to confirm that he was on the way to the site. He showed up exactly as expected, located a short in the wiring fo the AC unit and resolved the problem in short order. He also checked AC and verified proper coolant charge at no additional charge. His work was fantastic and his attention to detail was outstanding.

Nate has been my HVAC contractor in multiple locations. He worked on an A-N-C-I-E-N-T HVAC unit at the Innsbruch mall for me at Andy's Pak-N-Post on multiple occasions and even went to bat for us with the mall owners to recommend a replacement. He worked on a home I owned in West Asheville and kept my system running flawlessly for a number of years. I would highly recommend him for commercial, or residential work.

We moved into an older home at the end of last summer and almost immediately had a clog in the drain line of our heat pump air conditioning system. We called a service person who had done maintenance on the system for the previous owner and he told us that our unit would probably soon need to be replaced and said there was more mold in it than he?d ever seen. This particular repair person happened to be from a company that also replaces HVAC systems. We decided to only get the clog problem fixed and then get through the heating season before having the system rechecked before the next summer. So now that season is upon us and Nate Johnson came highly recommended from the office of the attorney who handled the closing when we purchased our home. As a respected legal firm here in Asheville, we felt their recommendation would be trustworthy. After contacting Nate to set up an air conditioning check-up, he made arrangements to come to our house as soon as the weather warmed up to test the system. Once some warm days arrived, Nate came within a day of our call and looked over our whole system and told us what we?d need to keep it running. We told him about our previous maintenance check and the ?worst mold? comment, and he said he?d seen far worse and told us about alternatives to address the problem including using bleach in the system and several other options to control moisture. Nate's recommendations allowed us time to consider our options for maintenance or replacement of the system. Most helpful was that he estimated what we could expect for future repair costs on the existing unit. It was clear after talking to Nate for the several hours he spent looking at our heat pump that he really knows his stuff. Now that we?ve found a reliable, knowledgeable, and HONEST HVAC service professional, we will be using Nate for all of our HVAC repair and maintenance needs. I highly recommend him.

Nate will do you a good job and your system will work when he leaves. If it don't he will comeback and fix it usually no charge. Get price estimate up front as with all contractors.

We use him on a regular basis in this area and some of our other neighbors use him too. We like him a lot. We call him Nate. He came out two months ago.
