My particular agent was unprofessional and beyond incompotent, to say the least. I highly recommend going elsewhere with your business!

Realtor listed my home in spring and it sold in November. She was consistently unprepared (market analyses weren't prepared prior to our meetings/open house signs placed 20 minutes prior to start); was unprofessional (during height of offer to purchase negotiations she let me know she was unavailable because of a blind date); was frequently late to our meetings; was frequently unavailabe (out of state a lot and no contact for 1 month during summer); provided misinformation to coerce (email stating seller was required by USDA loans to pay all closing costs); and reminded me constantly of the volume of her sales and losses she had personally taken in real estate market (when I questioned her recommendations to me, she was always defensive). As a result of working with her, I had no attorney representation at closing to refute closing costs charged to me from buyer (attorney she recommended was unavailable and stated to me that Realtor was responsible for negotiation of HUD statement costs). Her lack of motivation to sell my house during the height of the market (summer/early fall) resulted in me taking a loss (which she acknowledged at closing). I also was stuck with paying buyers property taxes, homeowner insurance and inspections (which I tried unsuccessfully to refute). This realtor had her own best interests in mind, not mine during the entire process.

The Puffer group is known for their sales volume, so they were good about bringing people by to see my house. However, their focus is on selling the house as fast as possible even if it isn't for the best price. I had an offer on my home right away. Brad Puffer presented the offer over the phone and asked for a verbal counter offer. He then presented the buyers counter offer to me again by phone. I never saw the offer in person, and after playing "20 questions" I found that he was withholding important information from me so that I could make an educated decision. A similar scenario played out with a 2nd offer; this time I demanded to "see" the written offer - again, vital info was withheld. My house did eventually sell. When my house went to closing - they bungled that too. I eventually deleted them from the process and became my own Realtor dealing with the lawyers, etc. I complained to Sherrie Puffer and she emailed me saying they did their job and that I was "too demanding".
Description of Work: Listed my home for sale and brought prospective buyers to the house. They also advertised my home in some local publications.
