They did a very thorough job with both descriptions and pictures. The job was done in a timely fashion. The price listed is for the inspection and a radon test .

Because we lived in a different state, our real estate agent attended the inspections with Ralph Julian. Although his report included statements about the air ducts having uneven air flow, our agent informed us that he didn't actually measure the air flow, only put his hand over the vents. Mr. Julian had to come to the house twice because it was raining heavily the first day and he couldn't get into the crawl space because of standing water. The report stated repeatedly that he would check certain things when he returned, yet those items were not followed up on. Also, he overlooked a number of obvious external things as well, such as, exterior strips on the screened-in porch which needed replacing, a broken frame on the screen door leading into the garage, ductwork that had come untaped, a broken door handle on the built-in microwave, and lights that didn't operate correctly in the kitchen. He did find some important problems, but we were disappointed by the number of things missed.

Inspector came to meet our Realtor on time, and was thorough and prompt with his report, which was well laid out and easy to read. We were not able to be there, but our Realtor reported that he took his time with the inspection and even made suggestions about questionable areas. We were VERY satisfied.

It could not have gone better. Mr. Julian, who is an ASHI-certified inspector and is also licensed in NC, could not have been more thorough and professional. He took the time to explain every aspect of the inspection, and was not annoyed at my frequent and occasionally simplistic questions. I feel like I received an education on most aspects of my new home. Mr. Julian could not have been more friendly and polite. He finished the inspection in about two hours. The written report was completed and available to me within five hours of the end of the inspection. A completely positive experience; my highest recommendation.
