+ -1 moreI eventually found somebody else to get the work done and then a week ago, he had somebody call to say they could do it instead, but I declined.
Description of Work: I had gotten in contact with them about moving, talked several times, because I had some furniture being moved from my parents home to my home in Asheville. He kept telling me he would do the work, but it never got done.

+ -1 moreWe've moved a lot, cross-country several times and locally (various cities) too many times. This was the BEST moving experience we've ever had. On time, courteous, super careful, excellent rates. Can you imagine moving being fun? It was. George is a story-teller and a genuinely nice person. It is a pleasure to recommend him as a mover, especially for fine antiques and delicate furniture and items.
Description of Work: Basically, George is an expert antiques mover, and that's the specialty of this company. At the time he moved our household (mostly not antiques, but we have a few family heirlooms) he and his crew were doing general moving, local and Eastern US. This was basically an easy local move with no big or bulky furniture, Weaverville to Asheville. Two men, one being George himself, one smaller truck, over about 3-4 hours.
